It probably has to do with blood pressure. I cant see it actually having a direct effect on muscles or nerves in the back.

D-bol has a tremendous effect on red blood cell count, the cramps/pumps could be from this!

I believe its from water retention in the kidneys.

ive taken 80mg of dbol for 4 weeks and never had any lower back pumps. Nobody i know has ever had painful back pumps. Ive never heard of back pumps from eq or seen anybody have them.

i get dbol pumps and was thinking of doing 600mg a week of eq on my next cycle instead of deca because of the sexual sides of deca

I get them pretty bad, I dont think its too complicated though, I just think its through the increased pumps. They are a pain in the ass, but nothing to stress about
