M1t pumps are killing me. Anyone know any other supps besides taurine? .5 miles into a run and my shins and lower back are so bad I can barely keep a pace.
Exactly what I'd say - magnesium is the biggest thing for me. In years past I was deficient and would get nasty muscle cramps because of it.
Calcium too, to a lesser extent. There is some ratio of calcium to magnesium you are supposed to injest to keep them both in balance.
Taurine and staying hydrated
My bloodwork from my annual checkups tends to show low Vitamin D, so I've upped my intake from 5,000 IU to 10,000 IU per day. I'm hoping this next checkup I'll see some response on the D.
Also guys, I am not getting cramps. I am getting pumps, these are 2 different things. I stop and lay down and drain my legs..this works.. until .5 miles again and my shins are so filled up with blood again.. not great since I am in the military so I need to be able to run.

I have done every single advice in this thread and its better but still not good.
Its hard to explain but its more pump then cramp, but we seems to have same shin thing. For me, its pumping so hard it literally feels like the pump is bending the shinbone itself. Literally bending bones... and I have to stop walking for at least 5 minutes.
If i push it, whole leg below knee's goes numb and starts to get really warm feeling.
The thing that has helped the most is dry needling calves and deep tissue massage on calves as well.
Got something that will help.
You need BCAA's and L-arginine and taurine at 2g a day and potasium and at least 7 liters of eater per day.
