Dht vs ai on cycle

Bad idea IMO. DHT is not going to do for you what an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) will do for you. If you're adding it for different reasons, then so be it but your thread title says dht vs Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and to be honest, dht is not even in the ballpark when it comes to acting as an Aromatase inhibitor (AI). You may reap some benefits from it and if you're going to have Cabaser/Pramipexole and Aromasin/Letro on hand, then go for it. I'd be aware that when and if you get some sides, you're not really going to know how to attack it if you're just having the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and prolactin suppressor on hand. At the very least, I would run something for the prolactin and then if you get some gyno sides, you are pretty safe in knowing it's estrogen related and you can attack it with heavy Letro. Just my thoughts....

I've been trying a mild version of this via topical test on the ballsack. I'm only on a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose of test, but have so far had good results.

I have mild gyno I've had since puberty. It's not very noticeable but it is a lump behind my right nip. When under control I can't feel it, but it flares up fairly easily to a small lump.

With aromasin I was able to kepp it pretty much under control, but by the time I dosed it high enough it left me feeling not too great. Since dropping the aromasin and starting the ball bath of test the lump has shrunk again to unnoticeable and I am not feeling like crap.

It may not be the solution for everyone, but so far I'm liking it. I will report back if it changes.

This is right from this websites Steroid Profiles:

Proviron is helpful in stacks because of its unique ability to keep the body from turning testosterone into estrogen, thus giving the testosterone a better anabolic effect. This aids the bodybuilder in many ways. First, it helps reduce estrogenic side effects of other steroids water-retention, lowered sex drive, gynocomastia, etc. Also, Proviron can help boost the potency of testosterone in the body by freeing testosterone from its binding to sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG).

Proviron is therefore best stacked with testosterone, which makes taking anti-estrogen compounds unnecessary. However, Proviron can cause high blood pressure so blood pressure medication may be required for those prone to hypertension.

Sounds like exactly what your thinking..?

It's bullshit. Using Proviron doesn't make using anti-estrogen ancillaries unnecessary. Proviron can be helpful and useful but will never take the place of an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) or even a SERM.

thats the plan, im not reckless lol....i know dht cannot and will not replace an Aromatase inhibitor (AI), i want to see to what extent it can limit the use of an ai

thanks tho

I think this is definately something you guys should be doing more.

My only qualm is potential DHT overdose. I mea, you'll already have high DHT levels from the Testosterone increases so increasing this further could actually drive e2 too low (dosage dependant).

Another issue is a potential negative feedback loop. Increased DHT may in turn lower Testosterone levels. I suppose this probably isn't much of an issue when on cycle anyway.

Exactly.

As for the "DHT overdose" or having too much DHT for estrogen reasoning, you are not looking at any different of a situation than you would with an Aromatase inhibitor (AI), it something that should be carefully planned. However, most applications won't be near this being an issue.

I have been trying this with my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dosing (100mg a week test/200mg week EQ) and have had better luck then I had been having with aromasin. Better libido, less bacne, and no gyno lump (had since puberty, never totally disappears only shrinks to really tiny).

I am going to keep doing it and see what my next blood tests bring.

Awesome to hear Nate. I think this is something that will definitely be incorporated more often.

That's freaking great. I have always wanted to try DHT for gyno after I read about andractim and guys over in Europe using it successfully to "cure" gyno. As you said, the lumps always just shrink, never leave :squint: fuck you gyno

nice avi, and nice feedback.......i hoping and expecting to have similar results, ill definately update this thread when i get rolling, still a ways away, and you update when the bloodwork is done, im very interested now that you mentioned you are getting it done

Thanks, I'll let my wife know you like her pic. :)

Love your AVI too!

Definitely looking forward to hearing updates and I'll post any updates of my own and blood results when I get them done.

I made a thread about this but an interested on your thoughts..

using proviron to lower estrogen and SHBG when NOT on cycle?

I have high e2 and shbg due to finasteride which i quit a year ago. I'm probably going to start a small dose of aromasin for this but ive also got proviron. Would it be useful to try it instead or would it be too much of a surpressant?

My test levels are top level.

I think proviron is suppressive. I know a lot of guys tout it as not being so but... I dunno man. I hope someone else sees this. I would like to know the answer as well.

It definately is mildly surpressive going by people's reports. At low doses, i mean 25mg, such an effect is bound to be marginal if at all.
