I am not going to lie, I am one of those people but I only tell that to my friends. I am not one of those "gym experts" where I go up to strangers and show them the correct form(like I see a lot of dudes doing....smh dweebs).
Anyways, when it comes to my friends I usually say something. I have a lot of friends that try to put up way more weight than they can do. They do each one in a shitty form I like to call partials. So the other day my friend tried to incline DB press the 120's and he was only going 1/4th of the way down and counting each time as a 1 rep. I told him to drop that down to 100lbs so he can have a full range of motion. Everything I ever read says that form is everything.
But I see meatheads doing partials all the time. They are so fucking annoying. Screaming like they are in the movie hostel getting body parts cut off as they do each set with their partner(who is also a meathead) who is also screaming: CMON GET IT GET IT GET IT as they do 5 plates on squat but only going down a few inches. But like I said I do not say anything and try to drown out their screams by putting my headphones on full blast. I honestly don't give a shit about strangers in the gym and if they do the right form or the form that will give them bone damage in the near future.
