Do you use any Hammer machines?

inked1, We have three Shrug Machines all of them a bit different, one has a platform, one is on the floor and the other is Iso.

The only problem I see with them is the handles are to far apart...
welcome to the board bro :)

Easto, Thanx man, I just got my extensions done today for those Hammer Machines and I am going to put 7 on each side of that Incline Machine and break it in half...

I've got two gyms and the one that has the hammer strength stuff is 100 miles away so i never get to use them. They really present a new angle for the muscle to grow, and are obviously great to use, look how many pros use them.

We have the one that goes on the floor, non-iso. It has an adjustable seat, and two sets of handles -- one set for standing shrugs and one for seated.

I like doing seated shrugs on it because I am incapable of doing dumbell seated shrugs, due to short clavicles, wide pelvis, and short arms -- the dumbells bump my ass.

I guess there are some larger guys who wouldn't be ablt to fit in the seated shrug if the handles were any closer together. As I said before, I have kind of narrow shoulders due to short clavicles, and the handle spacing doesn't give me any problems.

I don't use the Hammer machine for standing shrugs, I'd just as soon use dumbells for that.
