Hi there !
I hope someone with the right expirience can help me with this old low back injury.

for about 10 years ago i felt a snap in the low back area (pic 1, witch is also where the injury is located) when i was doing squats !
i finished my legtraining, because the pain was not too bad, but the next day i could not even bend down to put my shoes on !

the next 3 months i could not sweep the floor without pain, so 4 months off from training was the result.

it took 4 years before i started doing squats again, and then i had a little "warning" in the back so i stopped again.

now 10 years later i am squatting heavy again, and have done so the last year+

the problem is, that i feel what i think is the injury lurking, no light pain/tenderness in the area, and a little more pain when i push my glutes backwards !
the stretch (pic 2) for the glutes seems to elliviate the pain (not for long though).

10 years ago when i got the injury a had X-rays taken, but they showed nothing and my doc just say, stop training (like allways)

Anyway, does anyone know what kind of injury it could be or what to do about it ?

Any help is much appriciated !

Regards

Picture 1.

The pain is in the green circle (above) a little to my left side, right beside the tailbone ( is it called that i the US ?)

Picture 2 -> this stretch helpa a little !

i have a similar problem. I hurt mine doing leg presses. if it starts bothering a lay on the floor and place one of my legs up on a bench. it takes the pressure off the area. I can also lay on my side and the presure is relieved. beleive it or not mine gets moreagrevated laoding plated whern pulling deads than any other time. i just work thru it best i can. part of lifting is training around injuries. good luck bro you aint alone.

Thx....and right back at ya ! :)

how long have you had your injury bro ?
Have you seen a doctor ?

This stretch (below pic), makes the pain stronger when i do it !
Is it the same with your injury ?

i hurt mine about three years ago and it still tightens up now and again. i went to chiro, massgae therapy, ortho, etc..... the chiro and massgae therapy made the biggest difference.

yeah that last stretch you posted would make my nuggets fall off. lolololo good luck bro

hahaha thx for your input bro ! :D

anyone else know what might help with this injury ?
some exercises ? stretching ? treatment ?
or what actually could be the cause of injury ?

Are both sides of your pelvis level? What other movements give you pain? What other movements alleviate the pain? Is the pain where your sacrum meets the pelvis? What type of pain is it (shooting, sharp, dull ache)? How bad is the pain during the movement and during the day on a scale of 1-10?

Dude I got the same shit on my right side.Wierd as hell.It fucked me up bad though.Pinched the sciatic.Crippled my right leg for like two months.same thing xrays showed nothing.I personally belove it is some kind of injury to the muscle it self.Like a tear maybe.I had hurt my back slightly attempting to ski. Then walking across a parking lot two weeks later I sneezed.Dropped me to my knees.very painful.I would love a medical explanation.I still get a twinge now and again especially when it rains.Which is why i believe its muscular, same deal with my shoulder that was dislocated years ago.

i have found out, that when i do this stretch (only i have both legs straight) the lower back goes "pop" and it suddenly feels MUCH better !
I do this to both sides while exhaling....i do it 3-4 times a week !

Especially efter squat day, then there will be 2-3 popping sounds when i stretch !
