dosage and body weight

How is it that there are set dosages for drugs without knowing peoples body weight. For instance, there are plenty of people on this board that recomend say 500mg per week of test eth for a first cycle. Well 500mg might be enough for someone weighing 190 but wouldnt be the same for someone weighing 260. Just like a person needs about 1.5 grams of protien, there should also be a set amount of hormones.

Sorry but it does not work like that when it comes to hormones.

For instance, a 300 lb person could produce the same amount of natural testosterone that a 150 lb person does.

you said something about Protein. THats just a flat out proven fact that you need atleast .5-1g of protein per pound of body weight to maintain mass. and 1-2g per pound to add mass.

stone cold is right. 500mg is just a guideline a reference if you will. But everyone responds differently I know some professional BB dont go over 400mg/week of Test but other recreational BB/lifters that swear on atleast 750mg test per week. 500 is usually the base and you adjust from there. :)

Then why do Veterinary steroids come with dosing information based on milligrams per kilogram of body weight?
For Example:
Boldenone Undecylenate - 1 mg/kg administered IM (Robinson 1987)

Thats exactly what I was wondering.

fellas, these are hormones, not protein, carbs, etc. they act differently.
just because this guy weighs 120lbs doesnt mean a guy weighing 400lbs is going to have 3 eyes so he can see as well as a small fella??LOL. i believe the reason they give you dosages for animals like that is probably so you dont give a cat 3cc's. small muscles wont exactly handle as much..but thats just a guess. bump for more info.
