the question Rebecca is how much water are you consuming NOW?? You can't cut water if you are not drinking enough!!! Pre-contest i get up to 2 gallons a day in order to cut water the last day out!
Also, salt is something you may want to start manipulating...
Your carb loading should be dextrose based... some use pie filling, mentos, yams etc...
diruetics work.. dandelion root is natural and OTC and works well.. but again, you need to have high water to cut it out and dry out for the day of the show...
also, a glass of red wine brings out my vascularity the day of the show...
discuss options with your trainer, you two know your body best.
oh and the biggest bit of advice and the hardest to follow
DON'T STRESS!!!!! you will go flat, hold water, raise cortosol, you name it, stress does it... let your trainer stress for you
that is why you hired him/her right?!? to take the guess work out and allow you the ability to just focus and relax...
