easy cube steak supper

4- cube steaks
1- can cream of mushroom
1- can water (empty soup ca)
1- cup peas, drained
salt and pepper to taste, or mrs. dash

In skillet, brown cube steaks on both sides season while cooking. Drain fat after bowned. Place steaks in a baking dish (13*9). Pour mushroom soup water mixture over steaks and place in oven at 350 and bake for 25 minutes. Remove from oven add peas (or any veg you perfer) and place back in oven for 5 to 10 minutes, till veges are cooked. You can use the gravy (soup mix) over mashed potatoes if desired.
Now this one rocks. I love cube steaks, I make it with tomato sauce instead of peas though. But you gotta tenderize the shit outta it.
This work very well with lean cuts of pork as well. Brown them off then cover with the soup. I add fresh mushrooms instead of the veggies. Makes the meat melt in your mouth!
