When I was in college I used to make 10lb chili.
10lbs of ground beef ($30)
10lbs of chili beans ($no idea, but cheap if you buy them dry)
Onion/bell pepper if you like ($5)
Chili powder ($3)
Cook that and it could be every meal for 4 days. 4,000 grams of protein--mostly beef, some beans. Want variety--toss it on a hotdog, or over corn chips smothered in cheese.
Good for you? Eh...debatable. Bulk-o-matic meal? You bet.
You will probably be out the door at $60 bucks. Freeze it, and it will last longer.
Here in canada a lb of S/B chicken breast cost $7, so 12lb would come out to $84, you guys have no idea how expensive food is in canada, its fuking ridicoulus, Dont even get me started on the organic chicken breasts, they are $11 a pound, lol, fuking insane, same with eggs, a dozen of organic eggs are close to $7 sometimes $6. Only thing thats cheap is tuna which is $1.40 a can.
