Effect of weightlifting on T replacement dose

Do I need to increase my replacement dose if I start lifting weights?

My endo said weightlifting doesn't use testosterone but I started last week and after feeling great on 80 ml twice a week symptoms have returned. I'm wondering if muscle rebuilding has used up some of my injection.

No. You do not need to increase or modify your dosage by any means. Testosterone is a chief component in building muscle, but you don't use it up like a component of a recipe for muffins. Stick with your prescribed dose and keep hitting those weights. If anything, you'll notice that your testosterone works better as you continue to put on lean mass and drop body fat. ;)

How long have you been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? Takes a little time for levels to build up when you start injections. And have you checked your E2 recently?

Been on Test Cyp for about 9 months. Went through the initial roller coaster and settled in on a good amount couple of months ago. Only recent change was weight lifting and took 70 ml instead of 80 ml for one shot about 2 weeks ago (not enough to make much difference, I'd guess).

Haven't had Estradiol tested.

The biggest noticeable effect has been sex drive, it's really dropped. And an increase in fatigue and drop in mood.

Get follow up labs and review them with your physician.

There is no need to adjust your dose whatsoever unless your physician would advise it. Diet is more important and most overlooked, supraphysiological doses of testosterone will work against you and reflect negatively on your bloodwork in the long term.

Definitely check you E2. That can cause you to feel pretty crappy if it gets too high or low. Let us know where it comes in at and we can give you some advice
