Elbow pain when doing triceps

For the last few months I have been getting elbow pain when doing tricep excercises. On chest and Tricep day I have to spend 15+ minutes warming up with extremely light weight in order for the pain to almost go away.

I'm thinking this is referred to as tennis elbow. Do you guys know of any supplements or tips/tricks I could use to help fix this issue ?

Rest. Tennis Elbow is tendinitis. Tendinitis can be permanent if it gets too bad...I have it in both my legs and it left scar tissue in my achilles tendons....

But Fish oil (or better yet Krill oil) will help alot.

You should look at Skeletal Balm to alleviate it more rapidly.

But like I said, rest will play a big role too. What do you do for work? 40 hours lifting things and such will already wear on it.

ive battled that problem off and on.
i found that a strong sports rub applied 30 minutes prior to excercise and then a neoprene elbow sleeve helped make it bearable.

I have a desk job, so I do not lift anything heavy all day.

This really sucks because I'm in my mid twenties and already have bad elbow pain's.

I will look into the supplements, try icing my elbows, and stop hitting the weights so hard.

Cissus will help some what. Rest, ice, light stretching. Bands help a lot I've noticed. DAWG is 100% right as well, buddy of mine in college had terrible knee pain, warm up dynamic style and always wore a sleeve on his knee and it made a world of difference.

I have been using the Skeletal Balm with really good results. I just make sure to apply it before my workouts and it has helped me to be able to train normally again. I also take krill oil everyday which I believe has helped also..I was skeptical about the balm but I am a believer now!

Cissus, fish or krill oil, and skeletal balm for your topical.

I had tennis elbow back in high school when I played baseball. It was excruciatingly painful to squeeze and throw the ball. I wore a band over it (at the very base of the forearm) and that helped, but I also got into the habit of chewing on ibuprofen like pez before games.

Definitely rest a bit.

And if you're doing skull crushers, I've found that doing them on an incline bench instead of flat has helped drastically in relieving pressure on my elbows.
