end of trt in the ufc....

It's a shame. Their going to lose a lot of good fighters like Dan Henderson, Anderson Silva, Belfort, ect. I def for keeping the trt legal in the sport but educate the public as well as the fighters to explain to them that trt if used properly does not give the fighter an edge but simply evens thelaying field.

It really just means that they will have to go back to cycling short esters like they did before the TUE loophole. I think it's mostly a smokescreen to ban the TUE - those who actually require it should be allowed to, but let's face it, Vitor is not one of them. Even his explanation of why it will take 90 days for his body to acclimate to being off TRT (which sounds a lot like PCT, but if he requires TRT, shouldn't his body be almost unable to return to natural levels?) included a description that made it sound much more like a lifestyle choice than a medical necessity. I think the New Jersey athletic commission has a much more rational approach (possibly the only time that sentence has ever been used). They have only once granted a TUE, and revoked it when it was clear the guidelines were not being followed.

I think Bigfoot Silva is the one on TRT, not Anderson.

TRT is usual only 200mg a week, can't say I get much strength off 200mg a week, feel better, but not much overall strength.

Well, if they throw something short acting like a cream into the mix, they may not piss hot after a fight, and they can still boost their levels and even pass the periodic tests. Basically, the same strategy they would employ with random out of competition testing and they keep their epi to test ratio within the safe limit almost all the time when they are awake.
