female-to-male transsexual, already on test cyp...what else should I be doing/

I'd say the test alone is fine for starters, nail down the diet and continue to train, don't worry about getting all nuts with other hormones just yet.

Good luck

well, here's the main issue.. biological males bodies will try to keep a 10 to 1 ratio of test to estrogen.. for females its the opposite, roughly....

so if you putting 100mg of pure test in your system and your female, would ur estro levels be dropping or increasing?? its tough to tell.. i would think ur body would shut down estro levels to try to bring down test levels, but at some point it would wanna change.. wow.. its a very interesting topic for me..

if your trying to be male, then i would say an estro blocker is a must because estro in your system would be counter productive..

as for your 30% bodyfat.. get your ass in the diet section and ill help you get where u need to go..

ur not putting on lbm cuz your probably not eating enough.. esp since your on a keto diet, its harder to bulk...

Thanks again for the advice guys! I should add that masculinizing isn't really an issue anymore, since I've actually done that completely. In terms of the ratio of testosterone to estrogen, one of the reasons my doc switched me to a lower dose was because my bloodwork came back and I had twice the upper limit of the normal range of testosterone in a biological male, so my body doesn't seem to mind the additional testosterone.

Putting on lean body mass is going well too, a few months ago you could see visible gains every week but I've just plateaued lately. Weight-wise, I've already dropped ~70 lbs in around 1.5 years (I was huge, shit was rough before I transitioned). so diet and LBM isn't really a problem anymore.

I've been interested in bodybuilding for a while though--my sister's a bodybuilder and she's gotten me really interested in it as well, so I wanted to see if there was any way to set myself up well for that while losing the rest of the weight, as well as ask some stuff regarding additional estrogen from AAS and stuff like that, specific to my situation.

Looks like I'm just gonna keep doing things (semi)naturally though until I'm at 10-15% BF, then maybe I'll think about AAS again. Thanks!
