Finally on the shots now very happy

Got off of those miserable patches. They have me on Ethanate 100mg/.5ml weekly for now. I had a blood test after using the patches for 3.5 weeks and I went up to 234 from a 170 and 210 test level, I guess I was expecting a little more, but I guess I did go up over 40 points from an average of the first two, but I would guess 40 points could change on a daily basis.

But I havent really changed my diet or routing and have lost 3-4lbs a week for a total loss of 10-12. So I am hoping the shots provide better.

Does the dosage look right to you all? And Im still trying to get the doc to test for est.

One other question when the nurse showed be to do shot she said she used to work for a urologist and said only do them in the legs or butt no arms. Also when you stick the needle in I cant remember when you draw the plunger back check to make sure there is no blood or check to make sure there is blood.

100mg per week is a good starting point. That is a very common dosage.
Give that a try for a few months and get new bloodwork and see where you are.

did the doc prescribe an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) or some HCG?

The jury is still out on aspirating. I personally dont aspirate and have been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for over 2 years now. never had a problem.

no she didnt. But Im guessing shes going to want blood work first. I dont know if Im having any symptoms that warrant it yet. My nuts ached a little the first week I was on it but since then not a whole lot, dont see a alot of shrinkage or man boobs yet. But then again I probably have to wait a little longer. I have a check up in a month and will probably discuss this and get more blood work then. Im guessing my dose will have to go up as the patches only gave me 40 points, but then again I dont know how the absorbtion of those patches will work compared to shots. The patches I was on were 2mg a day which is considered the absortion rate, but are actually filled with 7 or 9mg of test, so in a sense by doing 100mg of ethane a week I am getting 40-50% more of the stuff well see how it works. I am using a 21gauge needle that seems to work fine, she started with a 23 yesterday and couldnt get the stuff out lol.

Funny thing is the vial I got is 1000mg/.5ml monthly, so if I wanted to be slick I could do whatever I wanted, but I think I will wait and see how it goes.

Warm the dose before you inject. It will get through a skinny syringe much easier. 25s are painless for me, 21s aren't.

yeah i agree with big, get smaller needles. i use a 25g 3/5th" 1cc syringe to pin. i pin only quads and you aspirate to check for blood. you dont want to see any. i have yet to pull back and get blood and ive been pinning for a while. if you do inject into a vein i hear it will cause temporary breathing problems.

i take roughly 100mg weeky. i do 50mg every 3 days. check my thread out about getting dialed in. you can see where my total test and e2 is at with that dose. i take an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) though with it. but everyone is different. you may have very different test levels with that dose or could be similar to mine.

Good luck bro. I bet you get a lot better results with shots. 40 point increase is basically nothing.
