I have mpb and starting to recede. Im thinking about throwing in some finasteride to combat the hairloss from the extra test that will be running and possibly continue the use of the finasteride permanetely, but i have been reading a lot about permanet sexual sides, gyno etc... anyone got knowledge on how common this is, or have a better idea to fight mpb?

Myself and many others here permanently use finasteride. It works very well and is great while using test. I would not use it if you are running deca.
Cashout can answer any question you have and I'm sure once he's around he will post here but I have never experienced any negative side from using it. There are a couple guys who post here who have had some issues but I've never had any.

I have been taking finistride, in my second month and have had no issues with the related sides you speak of. I would recommend you go see a dermatologist and get script. It is much cheaper, $5 for a month for me.

Its not going to stop the shedding because those hairs that you are seeing are already in the phase to come out. Get rogain foam to help regrow. Sams Club 4 month supply for around $50. We use finistide because we are on and because we have started to notice thinning from doing cycles. The only compound finsitride can stop the hair loss with is test.

do not drink excess amounts of grapefruit juice while using finasteride.

Side effects of increased testosterone converted to estrogen can happen in this scenario. So be sure to make use of an aromatase inhibitor.

Finasteride is great for hair loss, definitely works, been getting the liquid fina for years without any problems. Give it a try, its different for everyone. Good luck.
how much do you take a day? or how often do you take it? how old are you, weight? im trying to get my dosage right
i have 1 mg tabs, i read 1 mg a day?

Most guys get the generic (finistride) 5mg Propecia is the name brand 1mg. Finistide is cheeper for most. Insurance covers it. Most of us cut the finistride in to 1/4. 1.25mg / day.

I've used fina for more than 16 years now as I am very inclined to MPB. I've stated many times in here that fina is the only reason I still have a full head of hair.
From a combined sample population of more than 16,000 users, a recent meta-analysis placed the reports of sexual side effects at less than 2% of the subject administering the drug.
Factors that increased the occurring of sexual side effects included: smoking, drinking, pre-existing sexual issues, and generally poor overall health.
So, if you are healthy, don't smoke, don't drink, and have not pre-existing sexual issues, you are very unlikely to encounter any sexual side effects.
Of those subject using the drug who report sexual side effects, less than 20% of that 2% report sexual side effects that last for more than a year.
Again, that is a small percentage of a very small percentage.
As the OP mentioned, fina should be used for test only users (and EQ and some DHT AAS in limited amounts). If you are using deca, the concurrent use of fina will only accelerate MPB. If you are using Tren, Dbol, A-bombs, there is nothing that will prevent those drugs from accelerating you MPB.
As OP mentioned, Rogaine foam is a great option that is cost effective to be used concurrently with fina. The foam works much better for temporal recession since it says on the frontal scalp area much better than the old liquid Rogaine.
I use them both and strongly recommend them to anyone who is concerned about MPB

yup... Generic Proscar. cuts into 1/2s or 1/4s. works great.
i really suggest you get it from your doctor and legit pharmacy.. I have not had luck with 'research' finasteride.
generic proscar runs me $50 for 3 months. while propecia is 69$ for 1 month.
This is a great thread since I posted about this recently. I am 43 noticing some receding at the temples as you can see in the photos. Will Finistide help right away if i am on a cycle or it has to be in the system for awhile? I use Regenepure DR and Lipogaine just in case recently. I am on HRT as well so I am concerned. It seems in the last year I have thinned more. I have concerns about gyno but will aromasin help that?
Libido wise is why I am on HRT LOL so I wouldn't want the proscar to cancel that out
I guess I could give the proscar a try and see how it goes? It sucks getting old. I take HRT for low test and libido etc. Proscar for hair and aromasin for estrogen LOL.
