First ever log. Test Deca Dbol Bulker.

day 2

Nothing to report on yet obviously, other than a slight upset stomach from the dbol and some pretty good PIP yesterday. all to be expected of course. shoulders/abs later.
 
I would say looking atnthe pics exspecially your back pose u hold majority of your fat (fat storage), in the lower back region, u seem to be higher then 13%, I would guess around 15-18%
Whats your height and waist measurement?
I would of leaned down abit before bulking, as u look like u got some mass, then hit a bulk stage lower in bf and look a lot bigger with more lbm and less bf, thats me tho
Depending on how your diet is exspect to gain some bf on a caloric surplus, so its gonna put your bf even higher then when u first started

6ft 215lbs. The back pic is a little deceiving because the split in the mirror panels makes me look a lot wider than I am. I used a bf caliper probably 10 times that week just trying to figure out the proper technique, my highest reading was 15% bf and most were closer to 13. Thanks for the input bro!

I would like to hear other thoughts of what my bf% could be if others can chime in as well.
 
Waist line measurement?
Use rhe calipers and also incorporiate your waist line measurement as well, you the 2 and u should be fairly close
 
I think your readings are off caliper wise bro, think u need to loose roughly around 15 to 20lbs of fat to get u down to a great bf %, wouldnt take u that long if diet is in check
U have a solid frame, u cut u are going to look bigger at 190-195, then bulking putting on more mass=in return more bf, its the illusion aspect of the game

Yeah but if your diet is on point you can still bulk and loose bf I know I have while gaining size for sure you should be fine dude just go hard and try your best to get that diet on point :) going to try that bf app though looks good

I did the yo yo up and down theory bro, just in return gets u frustratedwhat I mean up and down bulking and cutting,trust me bro,continue on your cut, 8 weeks is just a start, do another 8 weeks, set a goal bf% u want to reach, recomp for a few months, u upregulate a lot of things incl your thyroid, then consider bulking in the fall/winter months

Recomp at maintanence cals yes, but woukd def consider chopping some fat first
If u are sitting at 15% bf u can loose 1% bf per week if your diet is in check man, 5-6 weeks dieting and youll be more satified on how u look and build from there never getting to high in bf again

k so here's a typical mid day meal. 10 oz hamburger patty, bout a cup of brown rice, and some greens. the protein source alternates beef chicken fish pork...whatever I'm in the mood for.

for breakfast I had a protein/carb shake (25g whey/50g waxy maize carbs). not ideal I know, but it's the only meal I substitute with a shake. at

10am I had a large bowl of hamburger, eggs, and baked beans all mixed into a delicious slop.

after this meal I will eat a similar meal at 5pm then hit the gym at 630.

pre gym shake 25g whey/50g waxymaize
post gym same thing as above

Not to be a pain in the ass but your diet looks subpar at the most, I think u need to work on your diet to get the most out of things
Carb timing is cruticial, just looking at your pre and post w/o meals seems to be off quite abit, you should be consuming your biggest meals pre/post workout, 25g whey, and 50g waxymaize is nothing, consume whole foods
Even when I cut which I still am now my pre and post w/o looks similar to this
150g extra lean ground beef, 5oz chicken, 90g rice, 125g no fat cottage cheese ( pre w/o)
Post w/o 150g extra lean ground beef, 1 can tuna, 90g rice, 125g no fat cottage cheese
(Greens) asparagus with both meals

Only prob is, I already started the cycle. I'm just gonna run with it. My total bf may go up a bit, but my overall bf% should stay about the same due to bigger muscle to fat ratio.

I hear ya man. Any input is appreciated. The shakes are immediately pre and post wo. There is a meal an hour before and after each shake. I'm usually cooking my post wo meal as I drink my post wo shake.
 
i'll post a detailed description of my diet one of these days and you guys can evaluate it. Also gonna make a new thread with those pics of me and get some more opinions on bf% cuz now I'm very curious
