First ever log. Test Deca Dbol Bulker.

Day 11

weighed in @ 214lbs

4 pins in, and almost done my second week of dbol. starting to notice visual changes. I have an overall thicker look, and some how more vascular despite a small loss in definition due to water.

Destroyed my back this evening. felt amazing, I was about to bust out of my shirt the pumps were so big.

I noticed a nice change in the look of my arms. my bi's and tri's are bulging more than usual. also noticing a fullness in my forearms which for me is great because I have always had tiny forearms despite working the hell out of them.

side effects:

acne, on back and shoulders. big painful ones. I expected this. not currently supplementing for this

lethargy, also expected this with the dbol. no effect on workouts, but very tired at work

appetite suppression, was bad for a few days, now it's still there but not enough to prevnt me from getting my calories in, and definitely not as bad as the tabs. I'm def liking the liquid dbol much better minus the taste.

lower back pumps, these are killer. I get them from just about anything.

cramps. in my abs especially, terribly painful, and really hard to look cool when you're curled up in a ball from a set of leg lifts. just ordered taurine, and im buying some bananas today.

As someone who just started 25mg DBOL ED, I cant wait to bump it up to 50 for 2-4 weeks. I haven't noticed the lethargy like you but I imagine that will increase with the dosage.

lethargy kicked in late week 1. ive never run dbol less than 40mg so idk if 25mg will have the same side effects. that's a low dose. I don't really see a point to ramping up dbol doses unless you're just testing for side effects. be sure to check in when you up your dose and let me know how youre likin it.

I wanted to start it small to sniff out any sides and see how my blood pressure reacted. I have seen some strength gains but was hoping for more.

Dose ramps up in 2 days, really looking forward to it.
 
btw i'll be posting more pics at the end of the dbol run to see how my kickstart went. I know i'll probably drop some size/water once I stop the dbol.

Up to 50 now, first week ended me at +2 lbs (mostly bloat) but on 50 now (2 days in) weights are feeling lighter already!
 
I would consider using 3j to get your diet in check

why do you say that? it's only been 2 weeks, I'm not expecting much as far as lbm at this point in time, and I sure as hell don't expect to lean out on a bulk so I think a 9lb increase with no increase in bf% is pretty acceptable even though it's mostly water.

Well as stated u are sitting roughly at 18% bf, eating 1000 cals over maintanance ed, what do u exspect or hope your bf will be around after this bulk?, I am guessing maybe around 22 to 23% bf
 
I've been holding a steady 15%. I get it calculated every week at my gym. I dropped down to 500 above maintenance and keepin it clean. I am very optimistic and confident in this cycle. I'm right where I expect to be at this point.
 
Well those machines are shit at the gym, looking at your current pics u are more then 15% bf, grab up a set of calipers, do a 3 point (jackson) or 7 point test and I am sure u will find out u are more then 15% bf
If u have any plaxe around u that does a dexa scan look into that, those hand held, weight/body fat scales are bullshit bro they need to be thrown in the trash
 
They sell accumeasure calipers for like 10 bucks at gnc, look into that, dont touch those stupid body fat scales
Most of them are like 8 to 10% out of range, my buddy steped on one at the gym and hes lean as fuck like 6 to 7 % at 225lbs and said he was 22% bf lmao
Thing is they dont know your body composition, they go by how tall u are, age, then weight, then feed out bullshit figures for bf

ya I have a caliper but I'm not good with it I guess. it keeps reading between 13-15% no matter how many times I do it. I scheduled a doctor's apt for tomorrow to see if I can get an order for a dexa scan. hopefully I will know tomorrow!
 
Nice man, try some nutrition/ sports thearpy places as well, luckly mine has one they kinda cut me awesome deals as I promote there stuff, works both way lol, free scans once a month which rocks!, but I still use calipers to see which direction I am going and keep track once a week, what calipers are good for

that's a sweet deal man. just got off the phone with my insurance and my dexa scan is covered 100%. my doctor's office has an imaging center attached to it that does them too so I should know my accurate bf% by tomorrow night!
 
K so no dexa scan yet. The doctor put an order in for one but apparently they don't just hand them out. There has to be some sort of diagnosis. So me and the doctor made one up lol. Shin splints and concerned about bone density is what we came up with. She was kinda cute actually I think we hit it off pretty good lol.

Anyways I at least got my accurate weight and blood pressure. I stand at 6' 219lbs. My bp was 145/90. Both are about 15 points higher than usual. Good ole dbol. Anyways that's all I got for today. Legs in a bit.
 
dexa scan this afternoon. will post results tonight. hopefully they come in right away and i don't have to wait a few days or anything. will also update on my cycle progress thus far. stay tuned!
 
beginning week 4
aaand once again the healthcare system fails me. my insurance wouldnt cover the dexa scan even with a doctors order because the "made up" diagnosis wasn't good enough. i'll spare everyone the rant that's going off in my head right now.

as far as the cycle goes, i'm happy thus far. strength gains have not been amazing though, adding a few reps on some of my heavier workouts like squats and bench. sizewise i'm up to 220lbs, so overall i've gained 11lbs if i remember correctly. i look fuller and slightly puffy (i kind of like the puffy look). arm measurements are up 1/4" (17 1/4").

we'll see how much of this i can retain once i drop the dbol. I will be extending the dbol to 5 weeks since i have just enough and i might as well use all of it. more pics to come at the end of the week.
