Little background info: I have weight trained off and on since playing football and baseball in HS, but nothing consistent. Before I got marriad 2 years ago, I came in at 6'5" and 270 lbs. A wife and kid later, I'm currently 30 years of age, 6'5" and 295 lbs w/ a 30% BF.

About 6-7 years ago, I trained for a period of about 10 months and got down to 255 and a 23% BF. Not too bad considering where I started at. Anyway, I was curious if anybody had similar stats and has worked a diet and weight training plan to optimal results. I really would like to add lean muscle mass and lose the love-handles and stomach. I'm a real high energy guy when I get motivated, and a recent change in career (own my business) has given me the time to do this, and I have no more excuses.

Time to get ripped, and see what I'm capable of! :rockband:

Simply cleaning up your diet by eating more whole, less processed foods and eating below maintenance (in your case below 3000 calories) and incorporating weight training and other physical activity will do wonders for your body composition.
