Yes its January, and yes it is 'off season'. But what do you do when you have decided to stay in this 'off season?'

after deliberation and a wretched season last year i have decided not to compete this year. :( so what does one do with herself when you are so use to the goal of dieting and an up coming show to get you into your summer shape?

well i have decided to try a new off season for me and you poor people get to see it all as i've decided to log it here :)

last season was horrible for me as i was blessed enough to experience first hand that ' ballooning effect' that i've only heard of. two days after my show i literally gained 20lbs!! i laughed at the time and i assumed it was water retention because i actually had cankles!! literally!

then my weight just stayed and my body comp just changed to maintain that new number.... then fairly steadily i managed to gain another 12-15lbs on top of my pre season weight! any of you ladies out there experience this? can you offer any help or suggestions??? it has been a total bitch to try to get off! granted i have enjoyed my off season, but i always have. couple that with some recurring back issues and my training has suffered a bit too. this year my body seemed to respond so different and it seems so much harder to bounce back.

my season consisted of var then Winstrol (winny) and to cut i used clen and Lipo 6 then added t3.... it was also my first season where i used any harsh diuretics... could this be the cause?? or perhaps a hormonal issue??

in any regard, i have purchased some hgh and will be starting witn 1-3iu EOD...

i will be cleaning up the diet and posting my training as well!

any feedback is graciously accepted!

keep fit & have fun!!

well so far so good! started my hgh this past monday and what can i report so far.... well lets see...

i noticed a deeper nights sleep straight away. i usually have troubles sleeping so this was a very welcome gift! my sleep was so deep in fact, that i didn't even hear my bf get up and get the puppy barking! ahhh... sleep is such a blessedly underrated thing!

workouts have been pretty much the same with perhaps a little quicker recovery!

oh.... and it was my very first time injecting ANYTHING and i'm terrified of needles, so this little sissy had to get the bf to pin me for the first time! but.... my pride was hurting so i tried to do it the second night. so i quickly had it all set up and ready to go and put the pin to my skin and froze! ha ha my bf came intot he room and i just started laughing and asked for his help again. the third night i tried again and was able to do it!! ha ha guess that means im a big girl now!

the things we do that can bring us closer in a relationship! ha ha anyway...

will keep posting!

keep fit & have fun!

Cool, you have a log... I'll be following :dance2:
How much weight are you looking to loose before summer starts ?

I would say it was the T3 that caused the issue. I hate T3 for women and think its totally unneccesary.

Same thing happened to my wife back in '04. Lost a good bit of fat with it, but after the T3, even using a taper and keeping the diet clean for a few weeks, she started gaining fat after that. We always eat pretty clean, but we were drinking back then too so that I'm sure hindered it as well.

Either way, i don't think any women NEEDS T3. Yes you all are cursed with high estro which makes your fat loss goals much harder to reach and maintain, but evenso, i have seen more bad come from T3 use with women than good. Hell, IMO even men shouldn't use it unless they are pre-contest and trying to reach low single digits.

Anyway, sorry for the long explanation. Hope you reach your goals and good luck. Be mindful with that GH. You don't need much and it takes some time to do its job.

Thanks for all that! And no need to apologize!! Your input is greatly appreciated!! I thought it was that too!! I felt like crap on stage... Well worse than normal! Ha ha

As for the HGH it's 1iu 4x/Wk... I know it's not a miracle but we also generally keep a clean diet and drink occasionally... Have even scaled that back a ton! Just looking for any extra edge to get back to normal as diet and exercise alone weren't gettin it done!

Feel free to comment anytime!! :)

don't get me wrong, i love GH. I've just seen it do worse for women than for men. So just be careful and watch your measurements, etc.

good luck girl.

Will definitely keep an eye on measurements!! Looking to loose 1.5-2 lbs a week so definitely achievable!

Hey Girl,

How's the GH working for you ??
My husband ran it about 3 years & got really great results, he also slept like a baby.. good for him bad for me (my youngest daughter was a newborn, he slept like a rock, so I had to do all the night feedings myself :( )..lol
