Foot Problem

I've traditionally done calves 1x per week, but I recently started doing them 3x per week to jumpstart the stagnant things. But I've just started to notice extreme pains in the souls of my feet on my last set. You guys experience this before?
 
I'd have to say it's about the middle of the arch. Wait, is that even considered the sole? That's where it hurts anyway, the middle of the arch.. :rolleyes:
 
Yes, that's considered the sole of the foot, and it's probably a ligament strain, where the flexor muscles cross that area in their attachment to the toes. Rest should help a lot. Take some time off of doing calves; 3x/week is a little bit of overkill anyway, IMO.
 
I've just started to do calves again and I'm having the same thing... I'm thinking it's just that the muclses in my feet need to be stronger... I bet over time you won't have this problem if you keep it up..

If i where u i wouldn´t train them 3/week. That wont get them bigger dude.

1x a week was doing nothing for me. 3x a week is working so far, but keep in mind that it is relatively low volume each time.
