Full squats

My favoriate exercise now. My ass prett much touches the floor on every rep. I pause for a second or two with my ass close to the floor and then squat up. Im doing a little less weight like this but feels alot better.

The old style, alittle past 90 degrees is getting old. By doing it like thatI am not using some of the muscle and that bugs me.

How do you like to squat?

Front squats for me now, they don't bother my hips as much. I never felt i could physically go much lower than paralle.

Front squats are awsome too.

I start with leg presses and move onto front squats, i feel my quads get hit pretty good, and i don't have to feel the pain i used to get when i squated, i may start throwing a couple sets of squats in after extensions as a fourth exercise. I just cant throw 400 plus on the bar and do reps anymore, it causes too many problems overall on my body.

Isn't that a bad position for your knees, physiologically?

Yeah, i was just reading an article about that recently, but then again i could probably find an article telling me the earth was flat if i looked hard enough.

Heh heh. Probably. I'm sure there's articles on both sides of the aisle on this one, but the overwhelming consensus is that past parallel is no good.

I love deep squats when my ass touches the floor, you can definitely feel your entire leg being worked!

I like front squats. For me way better range of motion

Me too, i am 6'3 and for me to get to way below paralles feels impossible, getting below paralles is tough and i have to lean too much. Front squats I can really go deep with.

ya i'm 6'4 or 6'5 and for squats I lean very far over. Front squats I can stay upright and go alot deeper. Which keeps my core muscles tighter and prevents injury.
