Gains = response to drugs

nobody said eat below maintenance. everyone agrees that you wont really gain in a caloric deficit. but if you're getting in enough cals, even if some are dirty, you will make gains. are you arguing that?

No one said that? What exactly did he say? That's the point GOT, you cant go around making random and broad statements like this.

He can't. Because he is not defining what a mediocre diet is.

So I can eat 1500 below TDEE and grow huge. Love it.. lol. Even God himself can't offer you that.

Oh and I never said mediocre diet, go read the op again.
Maybe your reading skills are the reason you cant follow what Im talking about

if you saw no results then either your drugs were bunk, or you training was severely lacking. if you're training hard, taking in enough calories(even if they are dirty), and using drugs...you should see some type of results.

Let's take out the bunk gear theory of equation.. I use pharm grade compounds as I live in a country where it's easy to get AAS from a pharmacy as buying soda to you from a supermarket.
Yes, in first cycle I saw results, but shitty ones..
2nd one.. It was perfect (for my goals)
Now, if you are genetically gifted.. I'm not.. So still I think the keyword is nutrition.. As I was dedicated in the gym ...while running both cycles.

See my response, if you didn't respond the firts time it was your response to the gear wasn't that great, same second time but the nutrition helped.
Many of the top pros dont eat what you think they eat you know.
The amount of insulin they are banging in has to be covered by a lot of carbs and it wont be all clean.

Anyone can say "I have experience". Try intelligently explaining that you actually understand what you're saying. I think you'll find that to be an impossible task.

Look, the only way you will find out is to go and do it yourself.
Go and eat a lot of food take some gear and train hard
Then try it again and eat clean, count calories and macros.
If your response to gear is good you will make gains either way and the difference will be minimal.

Are you seriously telling me you dont know people who eat shit yet look great?

Give me an example of a "Sh^%$#" diet. Because it sounds like you're having everyone gain a ton of fat...

Again, I can't work with such broad statements. Hey, guess what? If you drink water you will die. It's a fact, just missing a ton of detail...

Guys, look, I know a bunch of guys out there who take gear and look like shit. We are arguing over genetics. I am very happy that some of you can eat what the fuck you want, not have gluten and/or carb sensitivities and eat pizza and drink beer all day and have abs. I am really happy for you. However, you guys are the exception, not the norm. On top of that, the majority of the guys I know who have those blessed genetics don't know shit about diet and rely solely on the gear to get them to where they are at. Not saying they don't training hard, but you get my drift. That is why you generally see guys who are jacked up on gear and once they get off of it, they shrink down. They are not able to get a diet that compensates for that as they have relied on gear, pizza, and whatever the fuck else they eat in their shitty diet.

Then there are fellas on here who really ultimately want to look good but care about their health first. I have noticed trends with people who are cycling all the time. Guess what?? None of them rarely look at their health, check BP (ruining their kidneys with prolonged elevated levels) and everything else in the mix. Yes gear does great things but for the majority of the guys out there, it is a crutch for them. Just because someone doesn't have abs or the best physique doesn't mean they are incompetent. You realize there are some really fat nurses out there who give great care, advice, and support. But because they look like shit we shouldn't listen to them?? My grandmas cardiologist smokes a pack of cigarettes a day and he admits that. Does that make him incompetent to perform his job or render advice. The difference is a lot of you genetic freaks will never have to deal with the issues that a lot of us "other folks" deal with. Its not a jealousy thing, its called reality. If I ate shit foods every fucking day, I wouldn't fit through a doorway, hence that has made me smarter when it comes to dieting and what I need to do. That's why most of you guys don't even know your TDEE nor could give a fuck less.

Then you have to ask yourself, what are your goals and are you reaching them?? Staying on for years and years and staying right around the same weight and not gaining more is a benefit how?? And keep in mind, a TRT dose is rarely 250mg per week unless you have confirmed blood work showing you need that much. There are a ton of guys on gear and look like shit. Then there are guys with genetics. Food is the most anabolic thing you can put in your body. I am happy some of you can eat like pigs and some like birds and still gain. Again, that is the exception, not the norm!!

Great post, although its not really what the threads about.

I have gone most of my bodybuilding career on TRT dosages as you call them.
I competed Nationally on well under a gram a week, my response to gear is pretty good, my opening post here was a question on high dosages which got totally ignored by the way.
It was the first time in 25 years that I had exceeded a gram.(very disappointing results)
When I came off completely for over 10 years my weight dropped around 15 lbs, granted my body composition changed but I didn't fall apart like your posts suggests happens to guys who use.

You can eat all the protein and lift all the weights you like but if you don't respond to the drugs then it aint gonna happen.
Sure you can get in shape and look reasonable but if you want a physique that stands out its all down to your response to drugs.

"Drugs are the finishing touch", yeah right.
You can eat the best diet in the world and train like a madman but once the drugs go in its a whole new world.
Hell you can even look great with mediocre training and a shit diet as long as the drugs are in there.

I am referencing the bold. It's good you haven't lost much being off, but again you are the exception, not the norm. I know guys who eat a shit bulk diet which is better than most guys and they still continually gain a lot of fat on the bulk. And if you look around your gym, you will see a lot of fat people in there. Hell, its the world we live in. We all know how obese America is. A lot of these guys are taking steroids, working out hard, and eating a "shit" diet. That is where genetics comes in to place. If we are just looking at vanity, then that's one thing and at least some admit it. If a guy just wants to have a good ripped body for girls and be on year round, that's his choice. You didn't really ask a question in your first post here.....Again, can you have a physique that stands out while on gear?? Yes you can but I have seen those same guys shrivel up and go back down to their original weight. Was it diet?? Was it poor genetics?? You tell me.

When people stop training/taking gear go back to eating normally, they ALL revert back to a normal physique, unless the overeat and get fat.
There is nothing natural about having big muscles, in fact the body is in a constant battle to stop it growing.

Austinite, 555 is the new troll on the block. He likes to ruffle up feathers by making controversial posts. Funny guy that he is :)

So you are telling me that no one who has cycled throughout the years hasn't added any new muscle?? Geez, you really seem to be one of the guys I am talking about who use gear as a crutch. I rarely cycle and I have much more mass on me now than I did when I first started using steroids. Yes homeostasis is a factor in bodybuilding but you have to know what genetic limit you are at. Most guys haven't reached that yet. No shit when people stop training and taking gear they will go back to where they were. Hence why dieting and especially dieting to maintain newly built muscle is important. When you say eating normally what do you mean?? You mean eating a shit diet like pizza? Is that normal eating to you? Look we can agree to disagree on this. I have my opinion and you may have yours. I haven't seen much from your posts thus far. Supposedly being a national competitor you would think you would know the importance of diet and how to maximize gains in the off season with or without the use of steroids.

He really IS just saying anything he knows will piss someone off. The spirit of troll is strong in this one. Of that i can attest to.
