Genetic potential

I see alot of people on here bashing younger guys about being too young to use gear, that they ruin their genetic potential. What about Arnold winning amateur mr. universe at the age of 20? do you think he ruined his genetic potential??

I think the main issue is that many people think they plug in ROIDS and bingo, huge gains non-stop.

When really, that is not at all the case for most people.

a lot of people think one cycle and there ready to go pro in body building... not the case. All it does is speed up the process a little.

For me, it is not an issue of age at all. I was 18 years old when I did my first cycle.

In my opinion, most of the younger guys on here have not bothered to do their homework and truly understand what they are signing on for with AAS.

It is obvious to me when the younger guys on here make some of the posts about their plans they have not bothered to educate themselves. Many come on here and want some of us more experienced guys to review their cycle and tell them "Yeah, go for it dude! Looks great!" The fact is, they get ticked off when we give them advice counter to what they want to read.

In my case, by 18 years old, I had spent more than 2 years reading, everything I could put my hands on about AAS - in that day there was no internet. I spent countless hours in the medical school library reading things like the PDR and the like.

I had visited with numerous doctors and discussed what I wanted to do in depth.

I had blood work and a bone plate scan done.

I eventually worked with my family physician on my first cycle so all my meds were monitored on a monthly basis.

My first cycle was a great success because of the time and energy put into educating myself on what to expect and how best to proceed.

So, the reason I would suggest that many of the younger guys not use AAS is because they lack the will to educate themselves regarding the entire process.

Cashout great as always, and can we please stop using Arnold as an example. If you have his genetics and team then go for it but I'm 99% positive you don't. This post happens atleast once a month where someone wants to defend their use at a young age by referencing Arnold. Instead of worrying about who used at that age worry about education.

I don't think that User is try to come across as a "know it all."

If I might be so bold as to put words in his mouth, I'll say that his point was not directed at you per se, but to the fact that there are a lot of young guys who want to justify what they want to do in terms of AAS and are looking for someone's approval to support what they want regardless of the fact that it may not be a good idea.

User, hope I am not misconstruing your comments.

It's pretty obvious how much time or research they've done when they talk about running dbol's only cuz Arnold did it or starting at 16 when they weigh 135 lbs soaking wet and they've reached their genetic potential. You obviously have no clue how many posts like these there are a week and how stupid ppl sound and how frustrating it is to see dumbass's come on here looking for answers everyday and then bitch and talk shit when they don't get the ones they want. They get bashed cuz they've done "tons" of research and wanna run oral only cycles or deca only and don't even know how to eat more then a bowl of fruit loops for breakfast. You should respect the Sr members on here not come here with 12 posts and talk shit cuz you sound like another one of the 20 yr olds that whine when they don't hear what they want.

ok i see i thought it was aimed towards me im sorry i haven't seen any post about Arnold using aas when he was younger .. didn't mean to offend anyone

everyone of them make a stupid comment.

everyone of them want to do deca tren anavar dbol first cycle.

3 cycles in... guess your the no it all huh?!?! pics or it didnt happen.
yes I ment "no"

No offense taken. This is the net. And no that comment wasn't necessarily directed at you. That reference has just been used many times for justification to bad judgment.

I think we(and myself) are quick to jump on the young guys because we don't want to see them take the wrong path. I don't think any of us would continue to use AAS if we didn't think there was a semi safe way to do so but many of us have put in time and effort to do it as safe as possible thru education. That's not to say others have not, but everyday there are many bad ideas posted due to lack of knowledge and many guys don't care to listen to the truth about the situation. I don't know any more then anyone else, but I do have my personal experience to go by.

Cashout thank you for setting that straight. Much appreciated.

I think all the guys just spend time trying to steer people in the right direction.

Im glad someone finally touched on this topic...Im new to this forum stuff but I cant get enough of it. I have always been a top notch athlete in any sport I played but I didnt start really studying and researching steroids until about a year ago. Im 29 by the way. I can appreciate the frustration of the more experienced guys because I have lived through making the wrong choices when it comes to steroids. I was 18 and decided I wanted to do a small "cycle"(10ml of sustanon250) and it ended up almost killing me. I had no idea what I was doing and no business messing with the stuff. I took it all wrong and when it ran out I just stopped. Although it wasnt a lot it was enough to cause me to go into a deep depression and break out in bad acne. If I would have been educated I may have been able to avoid some of the side effects. Thank GOD I didn't have more because when I was on I felt GREAT....Here is the deal, there is a lot of testosterone and ego on these forums, but from what I have seen, the veteran guys give rock solid advice and truly want to help others...Im sure they're not on here to give bad advise and if they do make a mistake someone is usually right there to correct them. Yeah sometimes it may come off as cocky or blunt but this is a hardcore forum, if you cant handle the truth go subscribe to better homes or martha stuart. If you really think about it, this forum has probably saved lives if not just a really bad experience. To all the Vets on here, thanks for taking the time to educate others...Keep up the good work!

Well most of the kids that come here for advice are not/dont want to become pro body builders so bringing arny in the subject is out of place.

Sure arny did aas as a kid with grate results and he lives right? What people dont talk about is how much money he spends on doctors etc. I wouldn't be surprised if he was on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) from early 20s to this day

Most of the kids just want to get bigger faster with minimum effort and they dont realize what pros have to go through each day to look like they do and stay "healthy"

you want to have healthy kids in your future? You dont mind being on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for the rest of your life? You dont mind being emotional wrack?....those are the questions kids need to answer b4 jumping on juice to get little bigger and stronger little faster to look good on that beach in the summer...

Get to the certain age first (24-25) get your hormones mind and body settled down...get experience in gym & dieting...build a good muscle base and do a lot of research on the damn thing you want to inject in your body...and finally ask the vets here for advice first
