After 2 semi light warm up sets of 10 you should plate up what you think will burn you out in 6-8 reps.. I shoot for a 7 rep failure, but if I can pinch one more out I do...
then lighten up just a bit on your next set so you again will be able to get no less than 6 reps in before failure.
I do this 3 sets after my 2 warm up sets...
And yes, heavy weights= bigger muscles.. You still have to use correct form or your gonna hurt yourself.. don't go in the gym acting like Hulk.. The idea is to stay healthy so you can grow..
