Glucorell R

I know this should be in the supplement forum, mods just let me get a few answers before you move it please.

How many of you have tried Glucorell R? Is it superior to a general ALA supplement, such as the 500mg capsules you can get from Anabolical. In other words, does the r-ALA form give better results in terms of glucose uptake, and how about as a liver protector?

well that explains it, thanks for info macro.

one more question, whats the recommended daily dosage?

generally 1 cap per 30-40g of carbs, taken 10 min prior to meal

i love it and personally hate all over the counter products except protein powder and im very picky on that too.
one of the best products i ever used.eat carbs and sta lean, gotta love it
dont start gloating ulter lol

Most people that I have talked to are more than happy with regular ALA. Seems like the majority of people who bump Glucorell R are those who benefit from its sales. I'm not saying it isn't a good product, but I don't think it is worth the price.

Yah, I'll probably get flamed now.

The people that benefit from the sale of Glucorell R are those that use it. Much more than those who sell it. People notice the difference between racemic ALA and Glucorell R within a couple weeks of switching. We don't even need to post the science explaining why that's a fact anymore. It took a lot of educating to get people to understand the difference in the beginning and I was starting to think that was over because now people find out about it from a trainer or a friend. Surprisingly most of the people using it have never even seen a discussion board. But since there are still a lot of people, many who saw it in Alternative Medicine Magazine, who go to GlucorellR.com and read up on it I guess the education does continue even though it's not us doing it, in a direct sense.

What happens if you go with 2 pills every 30 g of carb. A friend told me I would get to low plasma og sugar values or something and I would store more fat instead??

it could theoretically, acutely cause low blood sugar, though with extended use this becomes less an issue as insulin release adapts.

no you would not store more fat, less in fact. as a note r+ has been shown recently to directly inhibit adipocyte hyperplasia and adipocyte differentiation.

I have a friend who took it and said it's really worth it. It was the first time I heard someone praising it without the help of ultrer or macro... The fact that they both chime in every r-ala threads made me wonder if it was all hype after all. I once thought I was going to buy it but the price with the shipping to Canada was more than what I would pay. So, imo it looks kinda overpriced but also very effective... It's paradoxal but when someone thinks it might work and doesn't give it a try because of the price, I find it's legitimate to think if it's overpriced.

After christmass I will try it once for all, and I will bash it to death if I think I wasted my money or praise it like they do if I think it does wonders like they claim.

I like r-ALA much more than racemix ALA. Racemix gives me wicked heartburn for one. Secondly I dont like the urine smell. Thirdly I dont like the amounts nessicary to take for an equal effect of rALA.

Glucorell is worth it IMO.

I have no personal investment with ulter or macro.

Sometimes I'll take ala/R-ala before carb meals for peace of mind but I have to admit I see absolutely no difference in fat loss while dieting with or WITHOUT it.

I'll spend that extra $40 bucks on T3 or shit bonelless skinless chicken and see better results. IMO

mags, Glucorell R enhances your muscle's uptake of glucose. That's a fact. It will drop your insulin level increases that come from carbs. This will give your body a longer fat burning period because your body stops burning fat in the presence of insulin. So you want to clear the insulin as soon as you can. From your post it looks like you understand all this.
You say, "I see absolutely no difference in fat loss while dieting with or WITHOUT it."
Your statement says you are dieting and even without the Glucorell you are not losing fat.
That can only mean your diet is not giving you a calorie deficit. You will not lose fat no matter what you take if you're eating more than you’re burning.
