i think im going to heavy on DE day..whats important is bar speed not whether you are using 45% or 60%..Its not that i cant push a 60% weight..speed counts..ive seen it with my squat..my waves are not really based on a true 1RM yet i continue to make very good gains..why? its the force that is generated that counts
although im using the militia assistance day as my ME day i dont think im straining enough on this day..I have reduced the volume from the normal militia routine and i think that may be my problem..all upper end boards will be done on this day (4,5 sometimes 6) as well as shirt work lockouts..im not going to work up to a 3rm with CG's but i am going to start going heavier even if its just for a heavy single double whatever.
I need to strengthen my traps as well as my upper back..Its important when doing lat work to really squeeze the scapulae and not just row with the arms..sure i can throw 6 or 7 plates per side on a hammer machine and row but why? samehting with bent rows if i can only do 275 before my form goes to shit so what ill let all the other assholes jerk 315 up with a belt for as many as they want..ill be the one with huge lats..
and most importantly..set up set up set up..ive been working on it and ill continue to work on it..last week was the first time i really felt good with my board work..it wasnt flattening me out..still need to get better with catch and throw..i realized before i was doing boards completely wrong
