same situation, I always did deads and never bothered with GMs. Ill be doing these for a while. I havent done anything seriouse for lower back in a few months, but right now Im sitting here a few hours after the gym and my lower back is nice and soar. Im liking it
i generally do arched GM's as assitance and suspended Gm's for ME but yesterday i did some arched GM's and worked up to a few heavysets of triples just to keep form in line..ill be adding these into my arseanl of ME moves as well
If i am going real heavy i will do them off the pins like gayboy above. But i do do them after a ME squat or dead for sets of 5-8 starting from a standing position. I do them both closed stance and wide, both arched.
