well the redness spread and the lump went down to just one spot (the spot i pinned) I have a feeling it is something bad.

I guess i have to give it time to develop into something before I go to the doc. Maybe I did nick a artery or something?

Sucks the pain is all but gone, and the swelling is down a lot just now I have redness spread through out

If you pass through an arterial line on the way in, even if it is small, it will be pressurized to the degree that it could create a sterile abscess that presses on a nerve. If left alone, it will compartmentalize and will not have enough blood supply that antibiotics alone would help (sterile abscesses will still draw an immune response as well--basically a lot of pus) if infection sets in.

If you go to the doctor, that is a standard I and D situation. Incision and drain. Your quad could be compromised permanently. It could be less than aesthetically pleasing to you. I would give it my best shot and try to drain it. But that is my opinion.

Dude I say dont pin the thigh only from the shit that happened to me lol it still hurts but the swelling is only at the PIN site and the redness did spread but it also is not as red. I think itll take about a week to go away. Not only that but I think im going to start pinning the ass cause I really dont want to pin delt after delt daily

I prob nicked something important in there and didn't inject deep enough and it was virgin muscle so just think about that for a little bit. You read "just pin your quad man!" you're a n00b no one says shit then you pin your quad and nearly lose a limb lol.

I can't say that the pain has gone down less since yesterday but I have full function and not as much swelling. Ill give it some more time unless some one advises against it. I kinda want it to go away or develop so that I can go to the doctor and get proper attention. I have heard that it could take upto two weeks for it to go away on its own not sure really.

sorry to hear about your quad struggles. I have the least amount problems pinning quads. I once twitched when pinning my quad but that is the worst of it. My delts have been giving me problems lately. Got a big lump on one that has since went away but now my other one that has a lump about 4-5 inches below the injection site. its more in my bicep than my delt. Im not sure what to make of it.
