You have way more options at a gym, sauna, steam room, cardio machines, and more weight options. I only work out at home only because there are no good health clubs in my area, I would have to travel at least a 1/2 minimum to get to one. I prefer a health club any day over home gyms.
home gym if you know what you are doing. a lot of people say going to the gym gives them motivation. if you're in that camp, you need to reevaluate yourself.

Def GYM..sometimes you just need to get away and focus!!!!! If prices are the concern is there a cheaper gym around. My area offers gyms from 19 bucks a month to 150 bucks.
I could not do what I needed at home without spending a shit ton of money..plus Im almost certain I would lose some motivation...Whos going to spot you?????

true you would spend a lot of money in the beginning, but how many of those 20 dollar a month gyms have a glute ham raise machine? that is something i absoloutely need. and once you buy it all you have it forever if you maintain it. also if i don't have a training partner i have no one to spot me in the gym either, i just don't like going up to complete strangers and asking them to spot me. luckily for me when i build my home gym i've got a couple guys to work out with.
