Gyno Doctors Question and Surgery

Hey,
I've had puffy nips and some pain since i was a teen. I'm 25 now and it's getting worse so I want to go see someone to talk about surgery options if it is in case gyno. Before i go the surgery route, i want to make sure it's not a hormonal issue. What type of doc would i go see for that? Would that be an endocrinologist?

For those of you who have had gyno surgery, did you use a general or plastic surgeon? I've heard plastic surgeons were the best but that pretty much guarantees insurance won't pay for it. I know there are ways to get insurance to pay for the surgery but i was reading that insurance companies will automatically deny anything that a plastic surgeon does. I want to try and go the route to get insurance to pay for it but don't want to have a botched surgery. Anyone with any insight into this? Below are recent pics.

Get examined by an Endo. Make sure it is gyno and not psuedo gyno.

If it is gyno, I would try using raloxifene before getting surgery. There is a gyno sticky in this forum that will tell you more about it.

I had that same problem you were having. I'm 22 and I've had it since I was 13. Enough was enough for me so I went to a few plastic surgeons and picked one. She told me I didn't have gyno and I didn't need to waste all that money excising the gland. Besides, she was like if you remove the gland the nipples will cave in over time and look strange. She specializes in breast reductions so she knows whats up. She told me to just do an aereloar reudction and nipple reduction procedure. It cost me about $2000 and it was done under local. They look great now! I've never felt more comfortable with myself before.

I had gyno surgery done by a very good plastic surgeon. You can barely see a scar even if you look closely and insurance covered the whole thing. A friend went to same doctor and didnt get his covered so I guess got lucky, but I do have very good insurance. Whole thing costed about $4,000 which they reimbursed me a few months later after submitting all the insurance claims yourself because the plastic surgeon will not. Don't go to general surgeon. I've seen alot of terrible scarring and horror stories.. I had very large glandular and a good amount of of adipose tissue as you do. I know exactly how you feel man im 24 and had it done 4 years ago. Go to endocrinologist first as others said because they need to figure out the root of the problem.

Yes that is true. That's why they tend to leave a small amount of the glandular tissue if it is removed as they did with me. You are susceptible to getting gyno again though bc they cant remove it all. So do you still have gyno lumps under the nips? The lumps never bothered me it was just the look of puffy nipples that did. It looked fine when nips were hard lol

Yeah man at your bf you may be able
To get rid of if just by dropped the weight
I'd still get it examined though

I've tried dropping a bunch of body fat and as I get more lean, the chest looks worse and worse. When I stay a semi higher bf, it's not as noticeable. '

Everything looks fine when the nips get cold, but at a warmer temp, they are puffy and pointy. It's annoying because I work hard on the chest and know there is good definition there, but with the puffy nips, it takes away from the definition.
