Gyno From OCD medication. Help?

Hey all. So I've been on SSRI luvox(antidepressant for OCD) for about 20 years now. Ever since I was like 12 I noticed when I'm cold my nipples look fine. However when relaxed they look bigger and more puffy. Also since I was 15 I've been able to squeeze small amounts of fluid out of them.
I'm at work now. Can try to post pics later. But anyway long story short. I started TRT/cruising a few years ago. I recently saw my doctor and he confirmed. "Oh ya that is some light Gyno" he told me nothing to worry about. But this was also the doctor who told me having total test 188 at 23 years of age was no issue. Usually nips are fine. However lately they are kinda sore and look like scabby sometimes. I admit I check them too often so that doesn't help.

Anyway. My question would be. Is there something I can do or take to reduce this or make it go away? I've read up on letro and all that stuff. But since my Gyno isn't caused by Gear I was wondering if I should do something different? My estrogen and prolactin are normal levels. It's strictly caused by the meds. Which I do not want to change since they work well for over 20 years.

Does your drug cause gyno by blocking dopamine? like Risperdal?
How Antipsychotics Cause Male Breast Growth
How exactly do these drugs impact breast growth? Risperdal and Invega are classified as prolactin-raising antipsychotics because their dopamine-blocking action can substantially increase levels of prolactin, a hormone released by the pituitary gland. In women, prolactin stimulates breast development and breast milk production. When high levels of prolactin are present in males, those excessive levels can prompt similar processes, resulting in gynecomastia, sometimes accompanied by galactorrhea (abnormal lactation).

I take Ritalyn for ADHD as well. My prolactin levels are fine.

Ocd can cause gyno as anyone who watchs television can attest to.

Talk to your doc bro and see if there is an alternative treatment available that does not cause gyno.

I don't know if an ai would help, but what I do know is that if it were recommended, it would increase liability for pharmaceutical companies.

When they bring a new drug to the market, they expect civil lawsuits. Its calculated into the big picture.

It makes sense that the drugs would be reacting to E2 sites. They will never admit that, but from what we know, bitch tits come from e2.

well maybe its time to try cognitive thearapy and ween off the OCD drugs. life long use of them im sure is not going to extend life and it does have sides (as you know )
not sure if it would help but maybe trying a low dose SERM like tamox or ralox for a a few months is worth it to see if it helps at all, but im not sure under these conditions.

wish i could be of more help

I used Luvox for OCD for about 2 years. Shit worked for OCD but horrible blood sugar drops and I did seem to get puffier nips while on it. I stopped taking it and the AIs do seem to work at lower doses now. I was also thinking the drug has some effect in estrogen etc. OCD and anti-depressives drugs simply trade one problem for another. I get it, sometimes relief from the original condition is the most important thing. Sides are sides I guess.

Thanks for replies guys. I'm looking into Raloxifene right now. If I go that route,is liquid form good? How much should I take and do I still need my adex of will Ralox replace it?

If you have had the gyno for 20 years, surgery is likely the only thing that will work.

Well with this said I'm not sure but I did develops a "light" case of gyro during my first cycle and got it under control with clomid....just a thought.

Liquid seemed OK to me but it would settle in the bottle fast and most liquid ralox will come with a crust on the bottom that needs to be worked up and broken down to get consistent dosages

You need surgery bro. I had puffy nips for years. Irritated the hell outta me. It's 5 grand, but we'll worth it. I tried everything before. Letro got rid of the lump, but not the puffiness. Surgery is the way to go.
