Hi guys,

So I haven't done a cycle in about a year but the gyno I have is staring to hurt/grow again. I got the gyno years ago from a ph. After the ph and some minor treatment I did a basic test e cycle. I had knots on both sides with them starting to hurt after the cycle so I started taking raloxifine. One knot on my left side went away while the right side deceased. Now, the left side had returned, hurting to the touch, slightly lactating if squeezed and growing it seems. I havent taken anything since the cycle and my test after the cycle was 800 something. So there should be no reason for my estrogen to increase like this. My only thought was from marijuana. I've read it can cause a decrease in test but never really saw concrete evidence or how much it actually lowers it. If someone could help me with some opinions or personal experience it would be much appreciated! Thanks

Ok thanks. What should I be looking for my E2 levels to be around? Also I only lactate if I squeeze the knot (which I shojldnt do) but it's only a drop usually

Even though we need to see the bloodwork, wouldn't it be a good idea for him to order Raloxifene and Prami right now to get it in hand? If you're lactating and have a growing knot you need something to get it under control stat correct? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Nolva will ease the discomfort... gyno can only be eliminated by surgery, but running an ai during all future cycles will keep it from increasing

Prami is NOT needed because if they were progesterone related sides they would subside completely after the compound causing it is stopped

True if he's going to stop. If he's not then he needs prami.

Everything I've read says Raloxifene is superior to Tamoxifen.

He's not on anything at the moment... says this is from past use

From personal experience, tamoxifen is effective at keeping gyno dormant

Raloxifene averaged 4% better at removing the gyno and the study only had 300 people. In all honesty they are most likely about the same.

That is unless a person is on wellbutrin a anti-depressant, wellbutrin lowers an enzyme needed for tamoxifen to work properly, in this case Raloxifene is the better choice.

Bump, honestly guys haven't had the blood work done. Just from being in college and haven't had the cash. (Didn't want to mention that, bc I didn't want to get on the topic of age) the knots actually came from a ph, not the cycle I ran. Both knots had hardened up and stopped hurting in the past, one almost went away. But now that one has came back it hurts and is about the length of my nipple. Idk what to do! Should I just order raloxifene? Or what? Do you guys think it could be the effects of the thc in pot? I've noticed it started around the time of smoking. Or could it be being at a weight im not normally at. This winter I just enjoyed food and packed on some extra lbs. so didn't know if it could be one or the other. If it is the pot, anyone with any idea how much number wise is lowers your test and if so how long to rebound

If e2 rises does that mean test will automatically decease? Or can you have a rise in estrogen without a huge decrease?

Testosterone is testosterone - even natural testosterone converts to estrogen (it converts at a higher rate for older guys, but still can be an issue no matter age).. I wouldn't worry about your testosterone levels at this point,, I'd be more concerned on what's going on with estrodial and where those levels are at,, you may have had extremely high estrogen for awhile now. If so you need to get bloods and find that out and get it under control.
Do you have other estrogen related sides?

Note: forget about the whole pot thing right now.. Sure thc and alcohol can lower test levels and possibly increase estrogen.. But I don't think that's the issue for u right now IMO

No other symptoms I don't think. Libido is good, lifting the same weight, a little tired at times but not too much. What will I need to do to get it under control if levels are off? I'm Ocd so this definitely stresses me out big time! So any help is very appreciated! If I go to the doc can they do anything other than do bloid work? Last time after my last cycle my test settled around 800 something. And I showed him the knots and had to educate him on it and the ralf. I took. So any help please is appreciated

Also could it be a combination of the pot and extra lbs? I read some weight gain can cause it and sense I already had the knots
