Hair Loss Despite Proper Precaution...???

I'm in my 6th week of my first Test E cycle. I'm running it 500mg, shots on monday/thursday 250mg each. I've been taking 10mg nolvadex as a precaution, and .5mg armidix eod to prevent bloat.

For hairloss:
I've been doing Nizoral EOD. Minodoxil 1-2times a day. Proscar 1.25mg, but about a week or two ago, I jumped up to 2-2.25 since I was a bit scared about the extra DHT once the cycle really kicked in, and switched from 2% minodoxil to 5%. I just ordered spirolactone cream.

I've been making great gains, no gyno, little water weight, but here's the problem...

My hair is thinning. I know I'm MPB-prone, but it's actually coming out when I put my hands through my hair now. I grew it out long just so that way it'd be little if at noticeable in case anything happened, but I can tell it's falling out quick easily. I mean.. I run my fingers through my hair and strands of hair are coming out.

What do you guys think/suggest? I know that hairloss is a side effect, obviously, but do you think it could just be initial temporary accelerated loss due to my upping dosages? Any help is appreciated guys.

Side Note: Just so it's known, I do know that nothing is a sure-fire protection, but I just wanted to know your thoughts... I do know that steroids cause hair loss.

Personally I think bald is the way to go but here is an interesting link that you may find interesting if you are concerned about hair loss.

Steroids and Hair Loss

The link is from MPB Research - An Educational Organization Dedicated to Scientific Methods to Prevent and Reverse Hair Loss

I run finasteride in previous cycles and still lost some hairs, its unavoidable. I recently started to use spironolactone before bed and I find it awesome, i can really tell its positive and i've been trying about everything else (nizoral, minoxidil..) with almost no results.

You're really doing just about all you can preventatively if you're going to use steroids. The only thing you could possibly change is switching to dutasteride over finasteride. I've been using dutasteride for over 2 1/2 years and have found it to be more effective with less sides (which goes completely against logic) than finasteride. Everyone's body chemistry is different.

mate it think it could be an intial loss which is a known side effect of finasteride & Minodoxil, but i wouldn't recommend uping the dosage, i'd take it back to 1.25mgs as this is the most effective dosage and no greater benefits have been found on the amount you up it too,. Been using finasteride & Minodoxil 5% for over 5years now with no loss and even some regrowth but i also recommend nanogen hair shampoo and double hair thickner..

I once noticed losing hair while doing my 2nd cycle. Would notice it in the towel especially when I dried my hair. I got scared because I'd rather keep my hair. Started taking Propecia and haven't lost a bit since. Switch to a "full and thick" shampoo, go easy on the conditioner since it tends to make your hair silky... take the propecia and you'll be fine. Best wishes bud

Propecia blocks the DHT which causes hair loss. The only thing is you have to take it once a day and its about $ 60 a month. However, I live near Mexico and take the Mexico brand. Its the same thing. Called Luxfil (Finasterida) 1mg pills. The brand I get is SBC pharmaceuticals and its about $ 18 for a months supply.
