Hammer Curls & Genetics?

Winter

PR Hungry
Whenever I do hammer curls for awhile, say, 3weeks, I notice that my bicep's peak starts to flatten out a bit. I do some preacher curl work w/ it, but it just seems to flatten out a bit. Is it because of the hammer curls or is just genetics? I dunno, I find it kind of weird that I can change the shape of my bicep so much.

you can get your biceps to change in just 3 weeks? whats your secret?

Actually people do hammers to beef up the brach and push the peak up. I always noticed it more with bent over concentrations, which I haven't done regularly in plenty of years. Probably just from the intense contraction and hold.

I dunno. A couple of months ago I was doing hammer curls a lot and that was my only bicep isolation workout and after awhile, I guess it either made my bicep bigger/longer or something because the peak did go a bit down.

Strange?

I do hammers and standing alternates, hammers are a nice way to start but not my only bicep work.

I notice the same thing acutally, id flex and it be like a flat spot almost like a plateau. Only thing i changed was the pull up style to a hammer style grip.

Yeah. I used to ONLY do hammers a few months ago before I really got serious in lifting.

Thanks for all the responses.
