by correct i mean that they didnt get lethargic. on a CKD, you are supposed to feel a lot of energy. i tried a CKD years ago and had great results but i was so lethargic. i later found out the reason was because i was in and out of ketosis. so my question is, has anyone done a correct and successful CKD and if so, what macros did you eat, what foods did you eat and what exercises did you do?

The only type of CKD I have done was the actual Atkins diet where you get into ketosis and stay there for the duration - no weekend carb ups.

This was more than 10 years ago. I lost a lot of weight quickly (something like 10 lbs. in 2-3 weeks). I think the diet is very effective for losing weight quickly if you follow it closely.

I wasn't as dedicated to training as I am now and I don't recall exactly what exercises I did.

If memory serves, I wasn't overly energetic or lethargic. I do remember having dreams about bread and pastries and having a real hard time driving past Winchell's donuts.
