Have I accidentally skewed my blood test?

Hey guys,

I'm on six pumps of Tostran 2% daily.

Got my first blood test since starting TRT tomorrow morn around 11am.

I usually apply the gel at about 7:45am, but I'm off work today with a cold and only showered and applied it at 6pm - been in bed all day.

I'm now worried that this will skew the test results as I've had today's dose 10 hours later than usual! I realised this halfway through application so I stopped and only put on four pumps instead of six.

What do you guys think? Will this give an inaccurate reading?

I'd hate for my dose to be unnecessarily lowered based on a false high reading, or alternatively for it to look like a good level when it may actually be much lower normally.

Part of me thinks that it may be ok since my levels would've been lower than normal prior to application, due to waiting longer than normal. But the other part of me says that I'll be applying the next dose 13 hours after rather than the usual 24hrs.

I'm sure you're labs will be fine.

Even though creams are dosed daily it still takes a few days to saturate from my understanding, there for it's not out of your system instantly either. Dosing a few hours later then normal shouldn't completely skew your results, if you completely skipped a dose then did labs I would be worried.

I really don't think it will matter any.

Thanks man.

Yeah, I've read that it takes up to 48hrs to leave the system, so I'm figuring that as long as one doesn't double dose too close to the test it should all be ok.

Yeah if you dosed back to back with only 3-4 hours between or skipped a full dose I would be worried.

I know with the creams most guys tend to fluctuate a good bit anyway so I'm willing to bet all your labs will have some difference in them each time.
