HDL/LDL question

I went in for COMPLETE bloodwork a month ago. I m 45..I do it mid cycle and at the end.
Green lights across the board..total cholestreol 172..however..hdl/ldl were a bit lopsided. good ones are low..bad ones high.
Is this enough to warrant concern..given my overall cholesterol is just fine.? My doc recommended aerobics, niacin..
Any input would be appreciated..

Sounds like your Doc hit the nail on the head. Aerobics is questionable, as far as high or low. I am 39 with numerous sports and career injuries so high impact is outa the question for me. I prefer to swim. Great non impact aerobic activity. What is your diet like and are U taking a multi? My multi (Twin Labs Hardcore) has niacin in it so I don't worry about taking any additional. A diet re-evaluation could do the trick though! Keep HITTIN' it HARD!

Yes that is definetely cause for concern. Your HDL/LDL ratio is way out of whack, not a very good thing. You will be depositing lots of plaque in your arteries.

Flush Free Niacin will bring your HDL back up. 500mg twice a day.

I assume you are taking a 17aa steroid. The Niacin will help, but the real change from it will come once your cycle is over.

my aas

500 mg test cyp/ 500 mg eq. a week.
So even though total cholesterol is low...I m still clogging up the pipes ?

thank you stone cold
