Heart burn with cialis

can any one tell me why i get horibble unbearable heart burn with cialis. maybe its acid integestion im not sure i know the difference. but any way i have to chug the antacid like i used to chug 40's when i was 14

Liquid or tabs? I could see Everclear in the liquid cialis causing heartburn.

hey man, i'm so glad i read this post tonight. i'm like a week into post cycle, and i've been using cialis now for some time just to get that thing going, and i swear, i get the worst heartburn EVER. and i just realized, i haven't taken it for a few days, and i've had no heartburn whatsoever. so yeah, it definitely is cialis. i have to eat antacids, tums, drink milk and shit just to stop it, it sucks

Cialis works by relaxing smooth muscle- the kind you get in blood vessels, the erectile chambers in your penis and the sphincter at the lower end of your esophagus. So when you have enough cialis in your system you get reflux of acid from the stomach- something weight training makes you more prone to in any case.
Gaviscon would be a good 1st stop remedy but if its really uncomfortable then using a proton pump inhitor like omeprazole or lansoprazole or an H2 antagonist like cimetidine could help take the pain away.
