Help - First cycle has killed my appetite and energy levels

I'm about ~3 weeks into my first blast of 400mg of T400 test and 120mg of deca weekly for joints. I'm taking .25 Adex ED.

Since starting this blast I've not felt the best - low energy and zero appetite. Just to get 2600 calories I have to force feed.

Prior to starting blast I was on TRT pharma Cyp 160mg with .5 Adex / week. This kept my E2 (non sensitive) at 41 and TT at 1200 as a trough. My TRT doc was very happy with the numbers.

I've read about test flu, but that doesn't seem to be it - I don't have a fever or runny nose. I've run low dose deca with my TRT with no issue, so don't believe that is it.

Starting to wonder if the T400 is bunk. A friend takes the same T400 and complains of terrible PIP, but I have none - zero pain. Is no PIP is an indication of bunk T400? Also if it was bunk, taking .25 AI ED, would drive my E2 to zero. I have no problems with ED, so don't believe the T400 is bunk. My lower back kills lately, but that could be due to hard training. No other real joint pain.

6 weeks boods have been ordered per Mega's signature. I might go in this week (rather than wait until week 6) because of how I feel.

Bottom line - is this common? Any thoughts?

That's a lot or arimadex dude. Sounds like you have crashed your E2. I take .25 every 4 days and that's with 750mg test E and other compounds stacked per week. Lay off the AI. The test needs to convert before AI is needed. And since you have upped the adex instantly I would bet that's the issue.

And there's only certain things that cause pip. Bunk gear is not one of them.

1. High BA content
2. High Mg/ml content.
3. Poor injection technique.

If I were you I would keep the adex to .25 EOD or E4D and see if mood and energy improves

I would go in for blood work today. Could be an E2 issue. After your blood is drawn maybe switch to adex of .25mg eod while you wait for the results to come back. You should have the results withing 24-48 hours.

your test levels were at 1200 with pharmacy grade gear and you only required .5 mg of adex PER WEEK. you did fine with that,, but now that you are blasting and getting your levels with ugl gear to >2000, you switched the adex dosage to .25 mg PER DAY.. that seems to be a drastic change in AI dosage for a blast, and done relatively fast.

personally, I would have eased into it, kept my AI dose at what had been working at 1200 ngdl and then move it up slightly after blasting for a couple weeks. I think you jumped into blasting your AI thinking you'd need more then you really do to start

Thanks all for the replays - Figured I was a tad too aggressive on the AI. I'm going to stop taking AI until I get labs back this week.

As a side note, not sure if it's bro-science but I've read that using Androgel on fatty parts of your body (read, stomach) will result in rapid conversion of test to E2. I have a small bit of Androgel left that will expire soon. I guess it can't hurt to give it a shot.

Unless your gear is human grade and it's not, there is no telling what is in it. On another board about a year and a half ago there was a female contraceptive in the test enethate. Guys were having all kinds of problems with it as you can imagine. Mega has the idea. Get in and get blood work done asap.

Thanks again for the solid advise. I stopped the AI on Sunday and started feeling much better today. I have bloods scheduled for tomorrow am. Will post the results.

My next pin is tomorrow after bloods. I will start the AI back up at .25 eod until I get blood results and adjust as necessary

FYI - I've gained 8 lbs since I started the blast about 3 weeks ago. I know it's mostly water but I do not look bloated at all.

Glycogen accounts for a fair chunk of that weight too :) And the water is usually intramuscular too.

Just a point to consider; normally when we get bloods done you don't make any changes until AFTER the blood is drawn. Keeping things consistent makes it a lot easier to 'diagnose' what's going on. Since you dropped your AI already your e2 will come in higher than what it was. It might even come in at a perfect level and then we have to assume it was low before. Bloodwork is just a snapshot in time.

Not a big problem really as we can generally figure it out anyhow, but for future it does make things a lot simpler :)

^^^^ Ding Ding Ding!!!

Ho hell yes - appetite and energy level are back to normal. I plan to stick with .25 EOD until I get bloods in 2 weeks (2 weeks will mark 6 weeks since I started the blast)

Prince's advice sounds gospel to me. But I had a friend with the same problem not very long ago. Backing off on the adex was the ticket for him.
