Help me GROW

Hey

Im looking for some advice and help, ive been reading through this forum and ive found that people on hear actually want to give you advice and help and point you in the right direction,

So ill start off im only 18 coming up 19 soon in july i trained last year for a period of 8 months and got my size up a small amount and wasn't really given the right advice and help i needed, i was in a gym with alot of guys who were training for competitions and were taking alot of diffrent things and because i was the young new guy nobody really had much to do with me, i tried to ask for advice and help but i got the bare minimum, which had discouraged me, i never knew much about the sport until i had read up alot on it and started getting serious about it, my dad trains 3 times a week and he tried to help when he had time, but he never had enough time to give me proper advice, ive read up on alot of diffrent subjects from training routines to diet plans and using gear, ive started back training 2 weeks ago and because i was that discouraged about last year, it has made me even more determined now to get my size up and get as big and as toned as possible and start taking it seriously because im carrying quite a bit of excess fat and want to lose it,

If somebody would be able to get back to me it would be much appreciated because im driving myself insane with having a bad body and looking in the mirror and feeling bad about myself.
