Hi everyone, im here to ask you for help concerning oxandrolone and the sides on women... i dont know much about the effects of steroids on women...

So theres this girl friend of mine who wants to take oxandrolone and she asked me to create this topic to help her figure some stuff out.. id like to hear some personal experiences on some stuff..

1- Libido --- i read that oxandrolone will increase the libido on women... is it true?? and after she stops taking it will the libido drop to where it was before or will the libido decrease a lot like when men are on post cycle therapy (pct) ?

2- Menstrual cycle -- will it delay the menstrual cycle or will it stop any menstruation from ocurring during the cycle?? or does it depend on the dosage and person?

3- She usually has a lot of headaches and pains like menstrual colics and she wants to know how will oxandrolone affect that?

4- She takes contraceptive pill... does she have to stop taking during the cycle?? Will she be fertile during the oxandrolone cycle??

5- Any mood swings during cycle??

6- post cycle therapy (pct) required??

7- This is her first cycle ever... i told her to take 5 mg/day or 10 mg MAX/day... but she wants to take 20 mg/day... what do you think??

8- How long should she take it for + - ??

Thanks ALOT and Any other info you might have would be helpful

How's her diet & training ? and what are her goals ?
In all honesty the fact that she's having a "friend" do her research pretty much shows she's not ready to run a cycle... She should do her own research & make an informed decision.

You can pretty much type "anavar" on google & it will answer most of your questions..

Eventhough anavar is a "female friendly" compound, she needs to have a solid diet & training foundation before considering a cycle & keep in mind it is not the steroid doing the work but rather the steroid supporting the diet & training that you do. The diet always drives everything.

As far as duration, a typical cycle is usually 6-8 weeks & women start at a low dose & slowly taper up monitoring their reaction... (Her wanting to do a 20mg dose right from the start is not a good idea)

Menstrual cycles are most of the time affected & most go back to normal shorty after finishing the cycle.
As far as birth control, it doesn't get affected during the cycle, if her period is "irregular" during the cycle, she can still get pregnant... and the libido will most likely be higher during cycle, of course keep in mind everyone reacts different..

The best advise u can give her is to join & do her own research.
