Help the newbie out please

Glad there is this thread for general questions. Hopefully some advice to give me something to think about / go research more.

I am on TRT; 200mg/week of Cypionate long term.

If I do a cycle (5-600/wk) how concerned do I have to be with PCT knowing I will go back to that 200mg week?

Any help or advice is appreciated

Thanks. Yes, that's bascially my question. I am on 200mg/week long term. Have 5 months until next lab work etc. I want to do a "beginner" cycle of 5-600mg/week for 10-12 weeks then return to the regular 200mg/wk.
Do I need to be concerned with estrogen etc or take any precautions/pct?

Thanks again

No need for PCT if you are on TRT my friend...

The aim of PCT is to get your own testosterone up and running again...

If you are going to be on synthetic testosterone for the rest of your life, you don't need to run a PCT

As for estrogen, every individual is different. 500mg might raise one man's estrogen levels through the roof, whereas the next guy won't be affected... the only true way to tell if an AI is required is through bloodwork - but I'd recommend having an AI on hand anyway!

Thanks Bigben- much appreciated!!
So I have a half life calc and a spreadsheet I will run to make sure I keep my levels around 700-800mg "active" during the cycle and will ensure my levels are between 200-400mg before my next bloodwork (I ran the math on the 200mg/wk)

Last 2 questions:
Is there any other precaution I should take before that bloodwork? (Donate blood I read)
In terms of AI is there anything good OTC or should I look for something else?

Thanks again

You should start your own thread instead of hijacking someone else's. And then read the Sticky threads. They cover these basic questions. But to answer, there is not over the counter AI. Get Arimidex or Aromasin. And donate blood to keep hematocrit in the normal range. By the way, this advice goes for TRT too.

ok thanks; that's fair. New to this board (or any). Thought tacking on to "newbie" thread was a good idea

Appreciate the help guys

I'm surprised bigben actually answered you. You will rarely get an answer jumping into a thread w/ an off point question. There is a (Ask anything thread) you have to find it..not hard. Also a whole section for TRT..anyway welcome to Ology. my noobie to noobie tip is to use the search box on top. Almost all questions have been asked before.

I wasn't concentrating and thought the question was asked by the original poster... my bad!
