I know this is an old thread but here goes a "bump". I will get to dosage to stay on-topic after a brief history. I am on TRT through an anti-aging specialist physician (I am 49 and suffered Low-T for many years before getting diagnosed). My total and free testosterone levels are in the higher end of the normal range. Estradiol / Estrogen are good (Started on AI low dose a bit back with levels in range but Dr. wanted my levels in the teens). Tons of blood work have been done including micro-nutrients. Dr. has me on many supplements, including DHEA, Pregnenolone and L-Citrulline. I still have low libido and ED. I have been using tri-mix for ED. I have used PT-141 very successfully, but it seems to not work consistently anymore - I have to be off of it for a long time and take a bigger dose for it to possibly work, but it does not work like it used to.
So, I decided to try Oxytocin. The vial was 2 mg, not 200. I mixed it with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water so the concentration should be 10 ug (micro-grams) per iu (international unit) on an insulin syringe. I took 2 units, or about 20 micro-grams on the 1st injection yesterday afternoon. A couple of minutes later I felt light-headed so I sat down. I got very warm especially my ears and face. Shortly after my mood seemed to get much better (I was feeling down and not motivated) and my energy level seemed much improved, plus I felt a little more relaxed than normal. I did lay down and take a very quick power nap an hour or two later just because I felt relaxed and I was going to take one before the Oxytocin anyways. The following morning (today) I woke up to a very nice surprise "down under". It took me a minute to remember what I had done different - the only thing was the Oxytocin. I am hopeful that this is what I have been needing.
On day two (just now) I took one unit or 10 micro-grams and I felt just a little warm sensation, very brief. At this time I plan to take this dosage daily with an additional unit a couple of hours before any adult activities. I will try to keep updating this as I have not found a lot of actual experiences from Oxytocin usage.
