Hematocrit got lower on TRT?

Baseline hematocrit was 0.42 (0.40 - 0.50) prior to starting TRT in January. Test last week showed that it dropped to 0.40. Is that normal? I wouldn't typically complain it's just that I've noticed a steep decline in my endurance (running) since starting TRT. Can't pin it down, but TRT has been the only major change since the decline (same frequency and intensity for years).

And by decline I mean pumps in the legs, out of breath just generally don't have it.

Test 33.7 (8.4 - 28.8)
Free T 80.1 (39 - 94.0)
Estradiol 97 (<150)

Can have been more dehydrated prior to the original bloodwork. Hydration plays a big role on blood viscosity.

How many days from shot were you on this test ?
How long have you been on TRT and what dose ?

how though ?
How does one know what's enough for hydration without over hydrating?

If you don't have enough water the hematocrit % will increase as the concentrations of rbc will be higher when blood volume is decreased through dehydration.

If Nuclearbank was overhydrated that could have been the case this time. After waking up in the morning however, that is not very typical.

You can always stop the TRT and go without it if its hampering your performance.

Good point on the hydration! Both labs were done at the same time early in the morning after a 12 hr fast. First one was a baseline test with no TRT. I'm interested to see where it is in another 3 months.

BTW: my protocol is 50 mg test cyp 2x a week + 250 iu hcg 2x a week. Feel great other than this weird endurance issue.
