i was wondering if anyone has had their hematocrit levels drop without giving blood. on my most recent labs, my hematocrit tested at 47.5. my previous lab, which was only a month ago, had my hematocrit at 49.7!!!!! i haven't given blood, so im wondering if it is possible there is an error in my labwork, or if indeed my hematocrit just dropped. im not complaining, id rather have my levels at 47.5 then nearing 50!
total t was 803
estradiol(non sensitive) 40
psa .75

labs were taken two days after 90mg cyp injection.

Besides hydration levels ( bllood dilution ) , the body has it´s own ways to control hematrocit levels ( by sleen action) , so it´s normal some fluctuating levels.

Same thing happened to me between my last two blood tests, first one showed I was about 2% over and my latest one showed me at 1% below, tests were one month apart, hoping it stays below and not above from now one! haha

It is common to have different readings! Recent infections can cause autoimmune hemolysis(breaking down RBCs) and it will balance out. Just make sure diet is consistent in regards to minerals which may increase HCT!

I wouldn't worry unless you start experiencing adverse symptoms, in the higher range my head will hurt often so I tend to want to keep my HCT at around 46%.
