Valerian is awesome! If you have any kind of sleeping problems or are really stressed out and find it hard to relax, this may be your answer! Valerian is a sedative, and a good one at that! When choosing your Valerian, a water soluble form is best. And as with all sedatives, do not take this with conjunction of alcohol. I have taken this before and i do recommend it, it really does help with sleep. I recommend finding it in combination with Passion Flower, they work well together, as they are both sedatives.

Known Uses for Valerian:
  • acts as a sedative

  • reduces mucus from colds
  • good for anxiety and fatigue
  • high blood pressure

  • irratable bowel syndrome
