has anyone else noticed that helmets are flying off the players head way more than usual this year.

either the helmet design changed or they quit making the players button their chin straps.

saw it happen once or twice today alone. I think they're being more lenient on regulations cuz it makes more ticket sales $$$$$$$, fans go nuts when helmets fly off, makes the impact that much more dramatic. Just an opinion.

It doesn't have anything to do w/ how the helmets have changed. Helmets get safer and imrpove every year. Honestly, I think the players are just getting bigger, faster and stronger.

yeah i agree, i think the players are evolving and became stronger these days, because of lots of supplement they intake everyday and add the work out too.

i agree with players evolving.. but the helmet issue in imo is only bcuz they only button 1 strap.. if they want to get their head stepped on buy a 300lb cleat.. so be it..

I've noticed this too. I played football for years. The helmets do improve every season, the only explaination is that they don't wear them with both straps buckled & when they do they're way too loose. Even though it's much more uncomfortable to have fully strapped on and tight as it should be, IMO it's pretty retarded

ever see the play from back in the day where Deon Sanders' helmet comes off & he falls directly on his head? Sick shit right there...

you dont see any of the old school players helmets falling off.. its just these pimped out motherfuckers with the problem..
