That tat is going to be crazy once filled in. I assume it's not fully complete...?

Oh, you wanted to talk about your biceps. Nice peak, got some vascularity going on there, but not sure why you picked a number as a goal.

Edit: To clarify, you want similar measurements across your body to provide symmetry. If you want 20" arms, you should then try for 20" calves and neck. Otherwise, you may look strange.

yup tatt is in progress and i want 20s lol idk y.

You beat my edit, but I'd be surprised if 20" will remain your goal if you meet it. We often tend to want more and more. ;)

haha

edit: im focused on arms idc bout other muscles tbh. arms is my passion from the beginning

old bouncers trick, pretty accurately gauge how strong a guy is by thickness of his neck..

i see so many dudes with pencil necks in the weight room, looks funny

I actually have a decent symmetry among those three locations.

Neck - 16.5

Bicep - 15 unflexed, 16.25 flexed

Calves - 15.5

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Calves need brought up for sure but not far off. :)

That thought never crossed my mind - figuring out how to get good symmetry.

*Biceps: L: 12.25 R: 12.25
*Calves: L: 14.75 R: 14.75
*Neck: 15.75

Guess I am not too far off then...good to know, even though my numbers are pretty low in comparison to you all (all measurements are cold and relaxed muscles).

Just takes time brother. You'll be there before you know it. :D

my symmetry is all fucked for bb ..

thick fucking neck, popeye forearms and calves

boxing does little for development of bi's and tri's

weight training coach ripping on me for still boxing twice week

" just imagine the muscles you're trying to gain on your arms melting with al those punches your throwing"

thanks coach..

As long as you have the calories to support it, I can't see boxing decreasing arm size. In fact, I bet the transition to weight training will be easy given how much triceps are involved in throwing those punches. ;)

that was my original thought HW..

but i guess its like distance runners legs, different kind of conditioning /muscle..

I'm finding when i do intense training in the boxing gym, its harder to gain on upper arms when everything else seems to grow fine..

But were you eating at a caloric surplus or on the stack you have planned? Long distance runners prefer to remain lean in all categories, so it's counterintuitive for them to try to put on mass - although it can be done.

3J will handle the diet, you have the drugs in check, just have to train for it. I know many big guys that "shake things up" by doing supersets/21's/high rep sets/chained pyramid circuits - all things that are considered not in the realm of hypertrophy, but still effective as it's time under tension and everything else is in check. ;)

spending 24 yrs dedicated to a single sport will do certain things to your body.

i put almost an inch on my upper arms in 16 weeks.

i feel i could have done more with diet on point and properly dosed gear..

all the cardio soaked up a lot of the caloric surplus i was shooting for.

i hear you HW..

new weight training coach wants me limited to 45 minute of cardio twice a week..

going to be tough, I'm definitely addicted to the endorphins form doing high intensity cardio. fucking junkie

i had been boxing 1 to 2 hours 3- 5 times a week ...

with atleast two of those days strictly warm up and sparring.

sparring partner for fighters from a couple gyms, told them I was done in march. retiring

wihtout all that cardio, cal surplus will be there.

with 3j on top of things.. I'm stoked to see what my body will do
