HGH therapy

Hey guys,

I am wondering about HGH and using it at theraputic levels. I am 37, on test cyp, arimedex, and insulin for type 2 diabetes.

I just wanted to see what anyone's experience was doing HGH.

I am unable to take Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), as it causes gout flare ups...stupid diabetes

I have been on test for the last 2 years, and it has been great, a year ago I demanded the doctor put me on insulin, and that has also been great, as it controls my sugars, which were high no matter what.

Hi TRT! I think HGH is a great addition for anyone over the age of 35. Whether or not they work out it has such amazing anti aging properties and that alone makes it worth taking.

ya I cant afford it right now. This dam economy right now has my business in the dumps.

As soon as I get the cash I am going to give HGH a go. I am 43 yrs old.

Because my pituitary doesn't seem to work at all I'm on a very low replacement dose of 1iu Ed. Normall guys need 1.5-2iu for replacement but I'm sensitive (thank god) to hgh (maybe because my bodys not producing hardly any of it's own).

Hey Mopar

Are you on USA pharm grade HGH?

Yes. 1iu taken at 3am after natural release (what little I have). Enough to get my fingers swollen so my formally loose wedding ring is almost impossible to remove. No pain. But even swollen figures indicates that I'm sensitive/respond well to it. Most guys would probably need more to get symtoms

Only really get benifits at a HRT dose if your natural GH serum/igf levels are low, most guys under 35 or so are fine and would not see any change at a low HRT dose of 1-3iu Ed. If you are really low though you would see (over a long period as it's slower in effect then TRT) fat loss, muscle growth, younger skin stuff like that.

So if someone has a normal GH level, 3IU's may not cause any noticeable changes in the body?

3iu is higher than normal production for most except teens hitting growth spurts.

As we age our natural levels decline. So what a doctor considers normal for an almost 50 year old man doesn't cut it for me. I want the levels of a 21 year old!

Ok, and what happens if I inject GH at the base of my penis? :D Just kidding, thanks for all the info you guys

Ya for most 3iu would put you at a teens levels. 1-1.5 would be "for most" or some just a replacement dose. Unless you are "sensitive" to it (which would be great).

So what are "Natural Levels" for say a 20yr old and 50 yr old? I'm guessing that this is IGF-1 I think mine was 165 if my memory serves me. Damn pituitary cyst.

Hgh

I am looking to start HGH and the things i have read say about 2-2.5 a day, but i was wondering if i would see results if i took it every other day? With it being so expensive.... I have seen post were they say they take it mon-fri and weekends off. Any help would be great the more info the beter.

conjecture is that EOD still has benefits. Some of the others will clearly know better than I do (Paging zeek, phatbastard, user, mopar etc). My understanding is that ED is ideal, 5/2 is good, and EOD is fine. I think it depends how sensitive you are to it and how much you are taking.

I think if you plan to make HGH a permanent part of your life you need to keep the body guessing and not allow it to get accustomed to one dosage or method.

I don't agree with the 7x week method since I feel that it does indeed raise your tolerance to the HGH you are injecting and that you will progressively need to inject more HGH over time to achieve the same desired effects. I can confirm that at least in relation to IGF-1 levels this is true.

Run it 1 month 7 days per week then the next month 3x a week, next eod, 5on 2 off etc etc. Keep switching. I also believe for people that don't have a real medical need for HGH that some time off is also key in keeping the body from getting accustomed to the outside HGH. I cycle my HGH in 9 month runs usually followed by 3 months off.

Hey Zeek, thanks for the input. I guess my understanding of HGH is off. So you're saying that exogenous hgh can shut down natural hgh production? So running it ED could, in the long run, be less beneficial than switching it up?

I'm not talking about natural production being shut down I am talking about ones body getting accustomed to the HGH being injected thus making it less effective over time.

This really doesn't apply to those using it with a medical purpose since those people require x amount per day and with the doctors following them they can adjust dosages as needed. I should have paid a bit more attention to the forum this was posted in before going into my HGH rants ;)

no worries Bro! I'm always learning so I can apply it all to future research. It's always appreciated Zeek!
